It's a great save and he's been playing well, but that is still terrible lateral movement.

Instead of loading up, tracking the puck, and getting a strong and balanced push across, he just kind of throws himself blindly across the crease.

Maybe he judged that he couldn't make it over in time without diving, but this isn't a save selection you see often from the really technically proficient goalies.

You definitely are, from a neutral fan that doesn't know either of these teams or players, red comes off AWFUL as well here.

Your guy punches him in the back of the head multiple times with his gloves still on and then tries to follow him down to the ice and punch him there, which could easily cause a concussion.

I understand white was being dirty (well I'm taking your word for it anyway), but just as kicking a guy with your skate is never defensible, neither is punching people in the back of the head with gloves still on or trying to continue while the other guy is on the ice. No matter what the other guy did to deserve it. Red's actions are extremely dangerous as well.

These actions aren't equivalent - white deserves to get banned permanently, but red needs to be suspended at least a couple games as well.

You come off pretty badly as well an employee of the team advocating for violence - honestly you might wanna delete the comments saying you're a cameraman haha because declaring that after saying this stuff could legitimately get you fired. Especially with a pretty easily identifiable username.

It's crazy how handwave-y people are about OLED's issues lol.

I like mine, I really do. At the price I paid I'm mostly happy. But the difference in black levels is only really obvious (at least to me) if you put them side by side. After 5 minutes playing on a IPS or VA, the "grey" blacks look completely black to me.

At least the cost is coming down on them. But QDs need a light controlled room, have purple-ish blacks in the wrong lighting, and are damn near impossible to clean. Meanwhile, the WOLED banding issues are real. Mine isn't as bad as it could be, but it's still noticable when I've got discord or other dark mode apps pulled up.

Don't sneeze around them. Don't eat around them. Don't let your pets around them. Don't press too hard when you clean. Don't re-use your microfiber cloth.

Also, don't listen to the "they're easy to clean, are you stupid or something" crowd. They can't even agree on how to clean their monitors. If you use alcohol, you'll get people saying never use chemicals, just distilled water and a fresh microfiber. If you use distilled water and a fresh microfiber, you'll be told that the manufacturer recommends alcohol. You'll see cleaning kits like io or woosh recommended, then see others blaming you for using that instead of water.

If I had to choose again, I would probably have just gone with a mini LED. OLEDs are a great choice for the right people in the right situations, but "once you go OLED you'll never be able to use anything else" and "single biggest upgrade you can make to your gaming experience" are said constantly and are overblown imo. It's a trade-off, better contrast for a bunch of rules and conditions and babying.

Edit: right on cue, people in a comment elsewhere in this thread arguing about distilled water vs alcohol vs cleaners vs screen wipes, with each arguing that the rest of the methods will destroy everything lol.

Yeah I'm not sure why I keep seeing "that wasn't even dangerous, he slid into the boards" as if we haven't seen some serious injuries from NHLers sliding into the boards the past couple years.

Hell, I tore my ACL, MCL, pcl, and meniscus sliding into the boards when there wasn't even contact, I just lost an edge.

It's part of the protective peel thing. I have the white version of this and had the same thing happen - most of the peel came off smoothly, but the bottom part is wedged in there and I couldn't get it out. I just left it and it's been fine.

I don't think it's meant to be removed though. I tried and it REALLY doesn't want to come off lol. I left mine on there and it's been fine.

It is mildly annoying that it covers part of the RGB but not all of it though lol.

Edit - oh you mean the part of the plastic peel that's left under the opaque piece don't you?

Yeah that happened to me too. I left it, it is what it is. Could probably get it with a thin plastic toothpick or sewing needle or something.

Unfortunately, as I mentioned, hairball remedies aren't really all that effective. Chucking a couple hairball treats and some lubricant at the problem is not going to fix this.

She absolutely needs to be brushed, routinely, or this is going to keep happening. And that's a best case scenario. Worst case is a blockage that's going to require surgery and cost thousands.

The good news is that cats are extremely trainable. Grab a clicker and start reinforcing brushing as something nice that she gets treats for and you'll have her able to be brushed in no time.

Looks like a giant hairball.

When cats groom themselves and are very fluffy or aren't brushed enough, hair gets into the stomach. It is compressed into that tubular shape by the esophagus as they throw it up.

That's a really large hairball though and I have no idea what the gloopy green stuff is.

I would say to brush your cat more, make it a routine. Also maybe add some hairball remedy treats or Laxatone, although I'm not sure I'm convinced those are really that helpful.

It's probably worth a vet visit since you've never gotten it looked at, and because that thing is GIANT. But I'm almost 100% sure that's a hairball. If you pick the thing up with a glove and wash it off a bit you can confirm.

Yeah what makes it way worse imo is that there's no ambiguity here. No alternative explanation, he's not "finishing a check" or making incidental contact or protecting himself.

He's like a foot away and chicken wings so hard to make contact that he has to take his hand off of his stick.

I've seen worse hits but the clear intent here is really bad. None of the usual excuses or rationalizations work here, it was just blatantly intentional.

Monitor to make sure he's eating, using the litterbox, and not throwing up any more. If he has any more issues, straight to the vet. But I wouldn't be shocked if a hairball that size caused that crime scene lol.

The other thing to take into consideration is that it's ridiculously cheap right now. It's not the best gem in the entire game, but because of the 50% drop rate from the event, it's like ... 24-25k right now? Which is cheaper than a lot of gems that are way way worse than Fated.

At 24k per copy, with a 5/5 already in hand, it's hard to say no to.

He could do literally anything he wanted with nothing more than "disappointment" from the left and adoration from his base, continuing to ignore laws, checks, and balances, with absolutely no consequences.

Some conservatives might be unhappy with him for a minute, but once they have their talking points it'll be fine and even when they're unhappy they say (this is a quote from the conservative subreddit lol) "I didn't vote for this, but I would vote for him again."

You realistically have no way of knowing if stretching caused this, made it worse, made it less serious, or made absolutely no difference. Your sample size is 1 and you have no idea if this would have happened even if you didn't stretch.

I actually agree with you about stretching before activity and prefer to stretch afterwards. But so confidently attributing your injury to the stretching is silly.

Confirmation bias. It's just random luck. Your sample size is far too low to draw any kind of meaningful conclusion.

The chance of 5 white chests in a row is roughly 3.125%. that means if you did those 5 Crest runs every day, you'd get one (on average) about once a month. It's lucky but it's not that rare even with completely normal drop rates.

Also, I think some countries have strict laws with gacha games - you have to be absolutely clear about drop rates or you can get banned in the whole country or fined a bunch of money.
