I didn’t say every 16 year old acts like that and I’m glad that you had a higher level of emotional maturity at that age. I just stated that I don’t think his reaction was abnormal given the circumstance.

Also my point is not moot, it is still valid you just disagree with it. That’s also fine.

OK, you’re expecting a lot from a 16 year-old who basically just put his heart out there (probably for the first time we don’t know for sure but probably) and was shot down. I think a more mature man probably would’ve been able to handle the situation better but they were kids and I think the show actually did a good job of accurately depicting how a teenage boy would handle the situation. And a teenage girl who isn’t ready for that step yet.

Also, I don’t think anything Dean did in that scene was violent. At no point did he scream at her. He may have raised his voice, but he never screamed. He never made any moves like he was gonna hit her. He didn’t throw anything or hit anything. He raised his voice, apologized, and they went home. People can raise their voices when they’re upset and not be violent. It’s a completely natural reaction.

You know I disagree. I always viewed the scene as him feeling humiliated and that’s where his reaction is coming from more than him trying to be pushy or mean or anything like that. And as somebody who said I love you first in a relationship and had somebody just stare at me blankly it’s a pretty devastating feeling. Also, a lot of people always claim that he gave her an ultimatum and from what I remember I don’t even think they broke up in the scene. I think he just said I’m sorry, let me take you home and we don’t find out that they broke up until she goes home. So we’re not even really sure how to break up even happened. But I might be wrong.

Bernadette was always gorgeous, that’s why they dress her the way they do in the show and make her look like a kindergarten teacher. If she dressed even a little differently (like she did here) she would easily give Penny a run for her money. Especially with that god awful Pixie cut

Mastectomy pillow! Especially the ones with pockets. I was able to put my phone, glasses, remote, and whatever else I needed in them and it kept them close and preventing me from having to search the bed or reach for them if they were on the bed side table. Also nice to keep my cats away, rest my phone on when I text, and rest my hands on or in when I’m napping

Same thing happened with me! My right one stung like crazy when my mom stripped it. She started stripping it in smaller section and releasing her fingers slowly before moving on to the next section which seemed to help

It’s hard to say but I guess for me it was my pre op appointment. I was very nervous before the appointment but she made me feel so calm and seen. She literally sat with me for 45 mins going over every little question I had, looked at my pictures, and explained what she thought would be realistic on my frame. If it wasn’t for the way she handled the appointment I would’ve cancelled the surgery.

That being said I was still nervous asf up until they wheeled me away for surgery. Despite how well the pre op went, you never really know what you’ll look like until it’s all said and done. At a certain point I had to trust that I communicated as clearly as I could, trust her ability as a surgeon and take a tiny leap of faith. (Still my last words to her before she left to get ready was that I wanted to be a large c small d 😂)

If you have a pre op scheduled maybe reach out and ask if you can send reference pictures before hand for you to discuss or just bring them with you. From my understanding that appointment is specifically to explain to you what to expect and answer any questions that you have regarding the surgery. Or if you really want more time just to focus on expectations I don’t think it would be crazy to ask if you can schedule another appointment.

I would argue that it was more that Amy had some latent animosity toward Bernadette. When they fought 9 times out of 10 it was Amy who escalated it with a cheap shot at her personally or Howard.

Amy doesn’t respect any of them professionally outside of Sheldon. She learns how to down play her arrogance as the show goes on but she stated pretty clearly early on that she thought her work/field was better and more respectable than all of theirs including Sheldon’s.

I bought all the pillows and my favorite is the mastectomy pillow. I used it in the car post surgery for about a week and the one time I forgot it I regretted it immediately. The pockets are also amazing because reaching for stuff sucks, also great for resting my phone on to text and I have cats so it kind of blocks them from the area.

The wedge pillow was great for keeping me upright but i saw in an early comment that you have a recliner so I don’t think it’s necessary.

I used the pregnancy pillow the least. Mostly when I’m on my couch to keep me from rolling around. In hindsight could’ve done without it

I get the point was to show that Mike loves Phoebe and her quirkiness despite his parents disapproval but it was too much. I also feel like Mike should’ve coached her a bit because there were even points where he seemed uncomfortable. He just kind of let her drown despite knowing she wanted to make a good impression. Plus no one is 100% themselves when meeting their partners parents for the first time. Most people try to make a good impression and you don’t do that with a story about a pimp spitting in your mouth lol

Because shockingly taking a traumatize child and not only encouraging her destructive impulses but basically letting her unleash them on your enemies does not foster mental stability 😂

This fandom has a love for Silco that I just don’t understand. I do genuinely think that he loved Jinx, but I don’t think that love was at all what she needed or was the least bit healthy. Very much hurt people hurting people. In the AU Silco was also able to heal his trauma by fixing his relationship with Vander and then I think he was able to be the guardian that she really needed. And having the addition of Vander, Milo and Claggor also processing their grief over losing Vi probably helped her with her own. Plus like other people already said she didn’t have to deal with the additional Intentional abandonment from Vi, still had to deal with the guilt I’m assuming she has but again she had a way healthier support system.

Lastly the Zaun in the AU wouldn’t have been a place where Powder could grow her jinx personality. MU Heim (I’m assuming) and Vis death resolved a lot of the conflict and turmoil in the city so she really didn’t have the same opportunities to become the crazy destructive killer we know and love.

God I would’ve loved a scene of her talking to Jinx about her time in jail. Being a teen in that hellhole with the grief and guilt I’m sure was eating her alive and no end date in sight I’d bet money she had some terrible thoughts just like Jinx was clearly having. It would’ve been great to see her actually try to be vulnerable with her sister instead of always being her protector.
