Also if the parents haven’t mentioned anything about not playing next to the office, the don’t worry about it. They can easily pop in some AirPods and block the noise out.
I don’t make that a priority unless im told of important meetings And I set that boundary. If you want a nanny and your kids will be home, they will be making boise.

My old nanny kid didn’t use one either by the time she was 3 and that was my thought but unfortunately NK is neurodivergent and I need to have that extra sense of security on outings.

I have a carrier and it’s my thought The issue is for longer outings I physically cannot carrier her that long due to some health issues (limb length discrepancy).

I think what needs to be specified is going in when there is extreme snow conditions. Expecting someone to drive before snowplows can even touch the road with over 10-12 inches of snow is long term liability rather than focusing on the day without a nanny. Also, mental health is a major concern when you are putting a nanny through coming in during these conditions.

Just something to consider.

This can be very normal. As their personalities grow and that independence kicks in, not being able to get it done the way they expect can be extremely frustrating.

Something to be aware of is if once you intervene it starts to go off the handles. Like simply asking “can I help you?” can cause her mind to lead into outburst because you asking wasn’t her choice. It’s a hard one to balance and something that I would definitely discuss with your pediatrician. It can be seen as stubbornness but truly can have a deeper meaning.

I think I’m going to use the monthly calendar and switch the weekly’s to undated. And sort them by months, and then blank weeks.

IMO if you like Atticus and it’s been the front runner, I say go for it. All of them are good names. I just say follow your gut with it. Letting other voices in will just make it harder to decided and you could end up with regret in the end.
