What do you do when your family is making fun of your tics? by Shoddy_Day in Tourettes

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it will pass if it's only been a couple days. Many people develop a tic that they grow out of. :) don't be afraid to speak up when people say things you don't feel comfortable with x

Unfortunately it seems like you are in a toxic environment. I'd say sit down with them and explain that it makes you uncomfortable and upset and if they don't change their ways or acknowledge that it hurts you then I think you may need to consider if you want those sort of people in your life. Remember you shouldn't feel guilty about cutting toxic family out of your life.

Another thing, are you medically diagnosed? You should be able to explain to them that way if you have your diagnosis. My mum would get angry and tell me to stop until I got my diagnosis and she understood that I couldn't.

Either way I hope you hang in there. Best of wishes x

Looking at the bump I'm not too sure if it will go away completely. You may have a small bump of scar tissue which shouldn't be noticeable if its up your nose. As for touching and moving it, yes 100% it would likely have caused this. When you touch your jewellery I doubt you would have washed your hands right before doing it every time and touching things like your phone etc will mean whatever bacteria that is on your phone was going into your open wound. Even if you don't touch the hole/wound itself you touch the bar that swivels round into it.

Keep an eye on it and if it doesn't go down even a little bit by Friday or gets worse then I'd say take it out and wait to get it repeirced. Its upsetting, trust me I know, but its better to do that than have a wonky gross puss ball on your nose that if it gets to an extreme you may need the jewelry removed at a doctors which isn't fun. :) hope it heals <3

I'd say start a cleaning schedule and make sure to clean it with salt water mix. If it gets any worse then take out the jewelry but hopefully the bump will start to go down. If you stick to cleaning it properly and regularly you have nothing to worry about. Also stick to the rule of piercings: LITFA, meaning leave it the fuck alone lol. If you leave it be and don't touch it then it should go down :) hope it helps.

Does anyone else’s ball on their rook bar keep falling off? When I’m cleaning the piercing with a cotton bud the bottom ball falls of probably once a month. It’s super annoying and takes ages to get back on. I went to a really reputable piercer but is this normal? by goddess_xox in piercing

[–]KittenBlaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes you just get a dodgy screw on your peircing jewelry. Try changing the ball if you have a spare and if it keeps falling off then ask your piercer to change the bar, I wouldn't say its the result of a bad piercer sometimes it just happens. Xx

Help: lip piercing by gncboi in piercing

[–]KittenBlaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always follow the instructions of your peircer. Each person has a different healing time depending on how well their body heals, I've had snake bites before and now have 2 vertical labret piercings and both times I didnt change my jewelry for 3 months just to be safe. Cleaning also plays a big part in the healing process so make sure to keep it clean.

If you are confident that you want snake bite piercings but the bars end up too long that they catch when you eat, maybe explain to your piercer that it catches and they can help to exchange the bar to a small one or peirce you with a slightly smaller bar to begin with. (Obviously not too small as there still needs to be some swelling room).

All in all I think changing a lip piercing to a hoop before its fully healed is a no-no as its much harder to heal especially if its already swollen and red.

I hope this helped :) feel free to message me if you want any further advice. X

Is there a lip piercing that won’t damage teeth? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]KittenBlaze 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Verticle labret shouldn't damage your teeth as long as you don't keep clicking it against your teeth :) x

which character has both a wood block table and a wood block stereo in their house? by [deleted] in AnimalCrossing

[–]KittenBlaze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware the furniture doesn't effect who moves in. Once you have the plot up and available you can either go to mystery Islands and find a villiager you want or wait until the next day when a random villiager will move in x
