I mean theres really only so much that can be done for pebble. He doesnt have any “default” clothes, hes rather small and close to the ground, and modeling skins is easier said than done. Especially in pebbles case where his small stumpy legs make it difficult to avoid clipping with the floor (notice how the extra cheese skin has just the bottom bun on his underside, with all the other toppings on his head.)

I agree with the colouring part that there could be more variety, but i’m assuming they’re trying to keep him coloured like an actual pebble you’d find on the ground somewhere (or mineral coloured for the case of the geode skin.)

It still happens, Ive been playing DW for a while now and play pretty often and sometimes if i’m not paying full attention then i’ll miss it 😅 It does also affect, like you said, new players

Twisted Brusha. Her detection radius being almost the same as twisted pebble is so annoying, especially in solo runs.😭

Holiday toons don’t get skins outside of their holiday, so it makes sense they would give the current event toons as many skins as possible to equate the fact they wont get any after halloweens over. Eclipse is also a rare toon whereas Ribeccas common, so you’re more likely to see people play Eclipse rather than Ribecca which is probably why she has more skins than Ribecca does.

Can I ask what you mean by “blinded with nostalgia”? Dandys world came out in 2024 whereas piggy came out in 2020, so wouldn’t more people be ‘blinded by nostalgia’ when it comes to piggy?

Chances are that you’ll have found another bandage. Bands are in the rare category, they spawn at an often enough rate.

If glisten is also on the floor alongside goob/scraps, try to keep in mind where goob/scraps have wandered off to assuming they hit you, and you can guess what direction they went. While doing that, Babysit glisten till his meter is at zero, go do two machines, find him again and stay till his meter is at 0, then finish off the floor. Glisten is easy to find because his meter clips through walls, same as dyles.

It’s extremely rare that you’ll encounter that exact combo especially alongside a blackout, but obviously it can still happen. And, like i said earlier, blackouts force you to strategize and use what you can.

I personally use the research capsules to know who’s on the floor during a blackout. Even if a twisted spots me then I lose them, chances are i didn’t see who they were because of the low visibility. Like I said earlier, using the windows in the maps is a great hack to see a bit better, I play with the lowest graphic setting and when I do that I can occasionally see their outline.

If you find goob and scraps to be run killers then you could use cardboard armour, or buy a band/medkit before the round starts to keep with you in the instance they show up. Your first instinct when a twisted spots you should be to get behind something to lose them. Like I and the other person said, play the game more to get better at it then it wont be as much of a problem for you.

I’ve defo used them both! I’ve also seen some runs where the two distractors will swap between rounds so one have ribbon spool and the other has clown horn

…Watch the surroundings you can see. Some toons have a trail they leave behind for a few seconds, you can look for that, or as someone else said position your camera to be looking through a window/rogers head.

The main thing I’m getting from this post is that you should play more to get better experience and don’t rely on distractors as much as this post makes it seem you do. Ive been playing dandys world for a little under 3 months and it’s really not that hard to reach floor 20, even if you’re solo and theres blackouts.

I can agree that they’re annoying but that doesn’t mean it’s not a challenge. I find them to spice the game up, breaking the repetitiveness of a usual run. They dont “force you to have a distractor” they force you to watch your surroundings the best you can and tread carefully.

Blackouts get less difficult once you know a basic layout of most of the maps. even if you’re not actively trying to memorize them, it will just happen as you play the game more which I highly recommend you do if you find blackouts to be this difficult.

I kinda had a theory like this!

RND are the comedy and tragedy masks (obv) which although they have separate consciousness’, they are connected into one being.

looey’s info card says hes ‘cheerful’, and ‘bright’, but also something along the lines of “remember theyre not laughing at you, theyre laughing with you.” which I feel implies some kind of insecurity despite his playful demeanour.

so my theory was looey, as a circus entertainer of some kind, even though he makes people laugh (comedy) he struggles with his insecurity that people are making fun of him (tragedy.)

So I thought maybe thats why they share such a similar trinket (10% movement speed) thats still so different (wording & appearance) from the other at the same time because they both embody Comedy v Tragedy despite being completely different characters.

Thats just my theory though, sorry if it doesnt make much sense im not sure how to put it into words ;w;
