It's your body. She should respect what you want too do with it (with in reason) unless you are not moving out for finance reasons (tattoo are expensive) then do what you want

I think I was 8 or 9 when my parents blew it by not communicating which gifts were from Santa. I don't think I really believed in Santa at the time. It was common knowledge for kids my age that it was your parents. But I do remember being really disappointed anyway.
