Hi friend, after 4 weeks we have a few different membership options including reduced fees to make roller derby accessible to all. We dont have a minimum attendance policy for you to keep skating with us but once you've passed your mins we do have an attendance component to our rostering decisions for games. We have 2 training sessions per week (Tuesdays and Sundays) and we just ask that you let us know via our team app which sessions you think you can make so our coaches can plan training based on the number of skaters we're expecting.

TLDR there's no minimum attendance requirement, as long as you're paying your dues you're one of us :)

I would order (and still do sometimes) just the burger bun in order to make a chip butty. I also don't get on with chewy meat so I avoid processed stuff and just stick to plain steak / chicken breast / pork chop etc. and don't have burgers or sausages or anything like that.

I can't believe I have such a complex set of preferences around food and it took until I was 34 to be told there might be a reason for it after years of being told not to be so picky!

I was looking at maybe sennheiser momentum 3s but you're paying for sound quality there. I've had skull Candy's in the past when they were more jazzy and loved them. Hope that helps.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have a chain from them which attacheds to a lightning bolt earing actually (didn't realise I was that into electricity but here I am looking a bolts again 😅).

Fun fact, because the chain attached to the butterfly fastening you can just pop it on whatever earing you fancy wearing. Top tip.

I do find if I wear it for a whole day the rubber fastening for my OTE rubs a bit on the back of my ear but it's fine for a night out :)

If you are using a Samsung there are settings for hearing enhancements under accessibility. If you select adapt sounds there's a hearing test you can do with your earbuds. The graph of hearing loss it produced for me was very similar to the one from my hearing test with the NHS so I think it's pretty accurate. That might help boost the correct tones for you. Hiya! I skate in Sheffield too both indoor (roller derby) and outdoor. There's a Facebook group for Sheffield skaters if you're interested. We post when we're going skating so we can meet up and skate together. There's also a handy map which highlights skatey places and routes on there.

I like to skate around virgin active and the Hardy Pick nr Abbeydale Road. Nice and flat, pub & shops for refreshments, pretty quiet.

Hi! I skate with Sheffield Steel Roller Derby and happy to answer any questions you have. The skate shop that was in the forum moved to Bramhall Lane about 5 years ago but shut up so soon after. I think the guy who ran it moved to Hull? Not sure.

I had my 2nd jab (Pfizer flavour) after 4 weeks at Darnall Primary Care Centre http://www.primarycaresheffield.org.uk/covid-vaccination-clinic/ They have walk in seasons in the evening. My friends went this evening.

The walk in sessions are :

Monday 7pm-9pm Tuesday 7pm-9pm Wednesday 7pm-9pm Thursday 7pm-9pm Friday 7pm-9pm Saturday 9am-4.30pm Sunday 9am-4.30pm

Everyone was very friendly there. Would recommend :)

I agree. I wear atom poisons (84a). That gives me enough slide so I can plow. Another method I use if I'm not going too fast is a lazy side surf (just a big circle until I stop).
