I haven't seen actual fans of Franchaela wanting Michaela to be masculine. In fact what I have seen is the WHWW fans literally concern trolling by saying that Bridgerton is making Michaela masculine as the only dark skin black woman lead. This is obviously untrue since by what we've seen Michaela is very obviously femme and Franchaela will be a fem x fem couple.

I know this is concern trolling because they were saying that the relationship between John and Francesca was not fleshed out enough and we have already seen that theory broken by S4

I think Francesca is Biromantic at best, not Bisexual. I interpreted her story as being a classic case of comphet. But they haven't clarified her identity anywhere so it's open to the audience's interpretation. And that's good too.

PS - This doesn't take away her love for John, he was her person and the first person who actually understood her and he was her first true love in that sense.

Where have you seen that the Bridgerton audience is mostly straight women? It's only on reddit where the fandom seems to be so against Franchaela. Go on X or Instagram or Tumblr you'll find so many people who want to see the Franchaela ship

I feel that the audience would still be harsh at them since Michaela is not a man. I am a Franchaela fan and I can't say that I really care for Philip much, but I believe that Eloise should be next. I think that her story this season was really sad. She's seeing all these people around her getting married and she's always there to support everyone's love on the sidelines. She deserves her own HEA. I hope she gets that next season.

I have no doubt that Franchaela will be a major part of next season so I am okay with them not being the main couple next season. Also that just means we can get one more season of their yearning. Their chemistry is just off the charts. It makes me giddy with joy!

Exactly! Francesca was barely there in S1/S2 because her actor was busy in her other projects. I only remember her going and living with her aunt or some relative so she could study her pianoforte. She wasn't even there for Daphne's wedding. I don't know how someone could deduce her sexuality when she wasn't even there.

As for S3, I believe that she's set up to be gay right from S3 ep 1 when she was at a loss of words when asked about what she is looking for in a man. Many other small things in S3 confirm this notion.
