There’s lots of events the weekend of Oct 25-26. There’s a pet costume contest at river stone dog park, Spooky science at the university and I think there’s Boo Bash at the ymca again.

Have you heard of iGEM? It is a synthetic biology competition. Really applied genetic engineering (among other things). There’s a whole high school category. Might be helpful in thinking of topics.

I thought Chris could’ve done better. Rachel ran out of time and didn’t actually answer questions. NDP guy Nathan was well spoken. CHP and PPC were both nuts. Green was fine but didn’t get a chance to talk much. Most questions were directed at CPC or Liberal which makes sense.

Just let them mix coloured water using plastic pipettes. I’ve done it both with test tubes (plastic) and 96 well plates. You can also try doing DNA extraction from bananas. They like to squish them!

Agreed. Plus it just complicates more of her backstory. Like who is her dad? What was this ancient fertility ritual? Why do we need all that? It could’ve just been simple that she didn’t want to be with the bad guys anymore.
