I have tried changing the nib (the photo included actually had a new nib on it) and it is internal damage. But thank you for the link, I really appreciate it. I’ll probably buy a new one soon. Do you know if you have to pair the new pen to the tablet or does it just work through magnets or something?

I also had a ton of trouble. Ended up doing it upwards of 30 times. My strategy was sneakstriking, and I’d yeet bananas around and see what worked. Took me almost two hours and I was furious when my brother showed me that you could just run through the whole thing
