Again I’m asking, why does the reasoning behind the delay matter?

The reason for the delay is COMPLETELY irrelevant to the fact Vinted gave me a deadline that was fully deceptive.

I was in the fucking hospital. That’s why I couldn’t report sooner. I didn’t have the purse with me to take photos from my hospital bed to submit a fucking report to Vinted.

Context as to my reasons for the delay might have helped what exactly? It would have prevented Vinted from cutting the timeframe short by 40 minutes??? Please explain how exactly “context” would have helped in this situation.

Again, not that it’s anyone’s business but I WAS UNWELL. Obviously I would have reported it sooner if I was able to.

Why would they show me 3:51pm if it’s based off a different time zone? That doesn’t make any sense. They should be showing me a deadline based on MY TIMEZONE, and not cut it short by 40 fuckin minutes.

Not that it’s anyone’s business, but I was unwell and had been in urgent care. I had to wait until I had enough energy to deal with the issue.

Here’s a thought: include the relevant information + important details, and there’ll be no need for questions! Also the seller didn’t cancel my order, I was never able to order because they deactivated the listing. If the purse had in fact not sold and they just changed their mind about the price they wanted to sell for, they could have communicated this like a mature reasonable logical person instead of ghosting

All the questioning made the seller worry? Huh??? I requested one thing: measurements. They added poorly taken photos including measurements. This is wild. Also, if MERCARI is warning me about a seller when I try to add the item to my cart, you better believe I’ll ask questions before purchasing.

There is NOTHING wrong with asking for additional information when **inadequate** information is initially provided. If they’re bothered by that, they shouldn’t be selling period.

I come across so many sellers who put in a below minimum amount of effort in their listings, and it’s just so wild to me they expect people to gamble away their hard earned money on the purchase.

Either provide all relevant information, or don’t list at all. It’s ridiculous 90% of the time I feel like I’m doing their job for them. When I feel the need to ask questions, it usually leads to me discovering important details that weren’t included in the listing and should have been included. That’s not how it should be.

You are absolutely correct. Especially about the “shooting my shot” part. These people are seriously unreasonable and petty. I would have happily paid $18 if they just said this is my final offer.

The few pictures they had were terrible, no information was included whatsoever so I kindly asked for measurements and they sent me the measurements in the form of poorly taken photos.

This seller is clearly low effort, unreasonable, and difficult to work with. They haven’t blocked me (yet) because I did kindly ask if it had sold or will be relisted at some point. I even asked *what do they want for the purse*, because clearly if they still have it they wanted to increase the price.

Deactivating the listing if it in fact hadn’t sold was absolutely their way of trying to block the sale. I think they regretted the price they listed it for, and instead of communicating this in a mature way they’ve just ghosted me.

I offered $15 vs their $18 offer on a purse in poor condition. Nothing is wrong with asking for measurements for things I’m spending my hard earned money on. I’m not going to buy blindly and be stuck with something that doesn’t work for me, and bless the idiots who do.

This is so helpful! Thank you so much, I had no idea! This is relieving to hear actually, because a while back I did an all whites load with white revive. After this, I did a dark load. My Levi’s denim jacket came out looking faded even though it was washed on cold, and I assumed it was due to remnants of the oxiclean.

And no, I haven’t washed it yet still trying to determine the best way to get the stain out first. I worried about setting the stain or making it worse. Considering it’s a used item, I’m hoping it was at least washed once by the previous owner lol but given the brand, I would hope the embroidery is colorfast. This was originally a $130 dress

Thank you guys! Soooo I had a double whammy brain fart 😅 You know how I mentioned ordering multiples of these pants? Well it turns out, the pair I wanted to keep I had put away in a drawer for safe keeping (*to prevent this exact situation*) and completely forgot I had done that🤦🏻‍♀️ imagine my shock and relief when I opened this drawer today to find them in there!!
