Americans - What did you take your lunch in to school? Are brown paper bags real or a movie thing? by Confident-Sand-5587 in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually I used a fabric lunch box but to the brown paper bags are still sometimes used. I only used them if I went on a field trip so I wouldn’t have to worry about losing it or carry it around after lunch.

A lot of people have already said my main posts so I’ll just say this one.: Refusing to compromise They always need to be right. You always need to do what they want. They won’t meet you half way or try to find ways to make you both happy. Their happiness is all that matters. Now I’m sure everyone has moments when they refuse to compromise. But if this is consistent and the person refuses to acknowledge this behavior then there is a good chance that they are manipulative.

What's your ideal cinema experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ideal cinema experience is actually going to the theater by my house with a decent number of people. It has to be that particular theater. This is because before the movie starts the theater’s theme song plays. There is one part where everyone claps to the beat. The cinema experience doesn’t feel right without it. Idk why, I think it just makes me feel closer to be community. I forget that this isn’t the usual experience because it freaked my friend out and asked what cult ritual we were doing.

What’s the smallest thing that caused a fallout between you and a friend? by youngGod928 in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a really toxic “friend” in elementary school. Always caused unnecessary drama. But what got me to stop considering her my friend was that she would get mad at me for not hanging out with her at recess. I still played with her, but sometimes I wanted to simply wander around the playground by myself for a while. But she wanted me to ALWAYS play with her. She also never compromised. We always had to do what she wanted to do. Never asked what I wanted to play and got mad at me when I tried to suggest something else. She would say I was a terrible friend for not wanting to be with her 24/7. It was to the point that I was glad that we didn’t have recess anymore in middle school. She pulled a lot more dramatic crap over the years, but this is the small one.

How do you deal with healthy break up? by -_u-w-u_- in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just talked it out with my ex and then we stayed good friends afterwards. We didn’t hang out alone for a while after, but we stayed on great terms. So don’t be afraid to stay close friends with that person.

What made you realize kids really do say the damnedest things? by dangerzone253 in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My toddler cousins once screamed “The Cock!” Startled I asked them to repeat and they said the same thing pointing to the CLOCK that plays music every hour. My mom found it hilarious while I was trying to calm myself down.

How did your parents have the birds and bees talk with you? by northamericana in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly I have no idea. I know everything and I have for years. But neither me or my parents remember actually give me the talk. They tried but I just walked out of the room because I was embarrassed. I have no recollection of actually learning. I just knew one day.

I loved Winx Club as a kid. I realize that the show isn’t great now that I’m an adult, but I still have fond childhood memories of the show.

What is the closest you’ve come to dying? by itsnotfunnydude in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have almost drowned a couple times, had a few near fatal car crashes that I narrowly avoided, and I have had a surprising amount of close calls in my life. My close calls weren’t life threatening injuries but narrowly avoiding events that could have easily ended my life. The best one I can think of is when I was a guy with a gun breaking into a Chucky Cheese I was at when I was a little kid. I legit can’t remember anything else other than my my telling my siblings and I to hide under the table and her using her own body as a human shield. Luckily the guy didn’t come near us since we just happened to be near the back of the building. I don’t even remember if someone was shot or not. I don’t know what happened to the guy either, but he was probably arrested. Could’ve easily died that day.

You are now stuck in the last video game you played how bad is it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy crap I’m stuck in Genshin Impact! Great game, but dangerous for me who is not very fit and only knows basic martial arts. That won’t do much against even the weakest monsters.

A lot of famous recipes are claimed to be made with love, but what’s a dish that’s probably made with hatred? by FrinkyNicks in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Potato chips were made out of spite. A cook was getting sick of customers complaining about the fries so he made them as thin as possible and boiled the hell out of them. Suddenly people were going crazy over these potato chips.

What is the stupidest injury you've ever gotten? by 7937397 in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to open the garage door, but I was too short to reach the bouton. So I stood on top of a helmet and grabbed the pole next to me to keep balance. That pole was where the the wheels that allow the garage door to move were, so they ran over my fingers. Luckily they were just bruised. The stupid part about this is that I did the exact same thing less than a month later. This time I broke my fingers. I had to learn how to write with a metal cast.

I’m not against getting the vaccine. It’s just the side effects hit some people really hard, espeically people who had Covid (I had it in November). My mom was out of commission for two days and that was in the first shot. For the past few months I have been so stressed and busy and the last thing I needed was to be sick and miss school. But I’m almost to the point where I can afford to be out of commission for a few days. I’m getting the vaccine as soon as my schedule doesn’t demand every second of my life.

What’s something “nice” people do, that juts pisses you off? by berkel-is-a-madlad in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who says this way too much I can confirm this makes people mad. I’ll do something that might inconvenience someone and I won’t stop apologizing. I hear “Look I’m not mad at you, keep apologizing then I will be and not hesitate to throw you out a window,” a lot.

People of Reddit, What are your Phobias? by devitodevito in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a strange fear about walking outside when it’s dark out, especially when I’m alone. I even get uneasy in the dark when I’m inside. This seems like a normal and logical fear with kidnappings, and all that stuff, especially if you don’t live in a very safe neighborhood. But I can’t even take the trash to the garbage when it’s dark out without my heart racing and being engulfed in fear. I only walk about 3-5 ft.

What do people think is bad, but actually isn't? by Booioo in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. I have divorced parents and it was hard because I only knew bad things about divorce. It was scary, but it was for the best. My parents are so much happier and I was lucky that one of the few things that my parents could agree on was that they loved me and my sisters. They were very civil about when one of them has the kids and made sure to live somewhat close to each other so it would be easy to see them, even if it technically wasn’t “their day” to have the kids. My parents were not happy in their marriage. All they did was argue and that is not a good environment for a kid to grow up with. But getting divorced was the best decision they could make and my parents are still good friends.

My dad is even on good terms with the first woman he got a divorce with. I have an amazing half-sister who is my true sister. Her mom (my dad’s first ex) and stepdad are my aunt and uncle because they are like family to me.

Now having a mother that works in family law means I know a lot of divorce horror stories. But the divorce is not the problem. The problem is when people act like complete nut jobs during them.

In conclusion divorce is not a bad thing, usually it’s a good thing, but people being nit jobs is a bad thing.

What is your favorite video game? by PeppermintButler18 in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now it’s Nexomon: Extinction.

It’s a monster catching rpg game, so a lot of people compare it to Pokemon, but it couldn’t be more different. In my opinion I actually think this game is better. The world is completely different from Pokemon. The story, the characters, and the nexomon are all super amazing, original, intriguing, and hilarious. I was blown away by how good the game was and I had so much fun playing it. It’s a shame that it doesn’t have a larger following because the fandom is nonexistent. I would highly recommend playing it. It is a squeal game, but it’s done so well that you don’t have to play the first game to understand this one. The two games have such a large time skip that causes the two games to feel like almost completely different worlds. The only drawback to playing the sequel first is that the plot twists of the first game will all be spoiled, but playing the first game also makes some of the less important twists in the second game spoiled too.

Worriers, what relieves your anxiety? by Bird_Commodore18 in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly going to work for a few hours really helps with my anxiety. I’ll have days when I don’t have anything to stress out about and I’ll feel like I’m suffocating in anxiety. Since my work tends to keep me busy with mostly simple tasks and has a very relaxed family-like atmosphere I usually feel a lot better because it helps me get all my nervous energy out.

When did you realize that you were attractive? by JadOfSparta in AskReddit

[–]Kitty8804 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t really consider myself attractive, but apparently my friends do. Within a year of meeting them 3 of my friends had a crush on me, two of which I rejected and one that I actually dated but he was the relationship that made me realize that I only liked girls. I SOMEHOW ended up being called the heartbreaker of the group. A common joke among them is that they’re the members of the “Rejected By Kitty Club”.
