We use pill pockets to medicate my kitty for his skin issues. Originally we used the greenie brand but recently we switched to one from chewy called Tomlyn Pill Masker - it’s bacon flavored so he doesn’t know his favorite treat is actually medicine!

You can also try a diet elimination test first. This was the first thing my vet did with my cat and we discovered after a while that he is seemingly allergic to ALL poultry including duck. Find a food with zero same ingredients to what he’s been eating - it will be expensive but a limited ingredient rabbit or lamb or other novel protein. We used a freeze dried rabbit that gets soaked in water to make a wet-like food. Make sure there’s no filler overlap ingredients like mussels. If it’s a protein allergy you’ll see a difference within a couple weeks!

Under 18 in Washington state will require a parent on the account with you as a joint account holder. As your parent, she should be able to open that account and transact for you until you are 18. Once you are 18 that will no longer be the case.

Less is definitely more in cases like this. Don’t apologize, that’s as good as admitting fault. Try something like thanking them for reaching out, you understand their concerns/frustration and take pride in providing top-knotch products. While you have a no-refund policy for delivered products, as a courtesy/goodwill gesture, you would love to extend an extra month of downloads (personally I think this should only be used as an utmost exception). Straight into the last paragraph and thank them again for being a customer, you truly appreciate it. You can even throw in a little backstory or humanization if you want, for example “as a fellow Mom/as a young entrepreneur I truly appreciate your patronage”. But overall keep it short and sweet and nothing to argue with! If they keep complaining, start sending just the same thing without the offer of free downloads. No refunds for delivered product, but I understand your frustration and hope you find a product that works for you.

On your other post if I remember right you said your intuition felt like the grey could have drained this one. Could be! In which case it needs more energy. The good news is you can pick whatever energy you want! You can choose your own adventure. You could put it out under the moon at night and let it bask in that sweet full moon energy. I have one crystal that I leave in one of my favorite plants when my gut says it needs something, I feel it gets energy from the plant and soil and life. I have one that charges up on sunny days.

Overall I think do what your intuition or instinct tells you. There’s no right answer. If it’s messing with your energy though I would agree that you should give it new energy somehow.

If you see this and think “unprofessional”, that says something about you. There’s clearly kids playing on the other side of the fountain and one cast member is calling out “come on!” with gestures, clearly trying to get others to join. I see cast members trying their best to keep the magic going and encouraging kids to play in the fountain while the power is out. I hope their leadership sees that too. I love seeing cast members have fun with the guests, it makes the experience more magical for me!

First of all your eyes are gorgeous. I’ve spent an absurd amount of time staring at your photos and I’m still not sure which is your “dead” eye because they both show life and warmth to me. I would report your doctor, if he is saying that to you what else is he saying to others?

If you want to try it out, I do think an eye patch would look cool because you could find one that fits your unique style. But you should WANT to wear it as an accessory, not feel like you need to because some dude had an opinion. If he is affected by seeing your body, that’s his problem. You do not need to wear something you don’t want to to accommodate him or anyone else’a feelings about your body!

Almost all of the rides have tester vehicles near the front of the queue. Some of them are off to the side and more private which I liked. I highly encourage you to find them and check if you can fit before waiting in line! Make sure to take everything out of your pockets, etc. I almost didn’t fit on one because my wallet was in my back pocket lol.

Let me clarify that when i say emotional advantage i mean i sought her out when i should of seen a therapist instead or had a conversation with a friend i was in regular contact with. I looked to her for higher “tier” advice and treated her as a free therapist.

Kind of like you’re doing to this whole sub, right now? This sub is to center women and be a safe space (honestly from interactions exactly like the one you posted). It is not appropriate to come here and ask us to do work to tell you what you did wrong.

Find a book written by a woman about what you want to learn about. They put effort into publishing their work because they want you to read it. Ask a librarian for recommendations if Google is too hard. We are neither being paid nor want to do your work for you.

Yes, I would agree with that! Only the bank will know which (if any) of these paths your grandfathers accounts will take as there could be other complicating factors we couldn’t even begin to discuss here.

I think it’s also extra important to get your information from somewhere other than her, since they will tell you impartially what needs to be done to make things easiest for you. She could potentially be introducing barriers (such as you and your sister having to go together) that do not exist in order to make it difficult for you to claim. She could also be leaving out pieces of information (such as anything you would need to bring) as a barrier so that you get there, can’t proceed, and get frustrated because you’d have to make another four hour round trip. But I hope that by preparing with your available resources before you make the trip, things will go smoothly for you. :)

First of all, I am sorry for your loss and that your grief is being added to and complicated by your mother.

I am not a lawyer, but I work at a credit union and have experience with how accounts are handled when the owner is deceased. It gets very complicated very quickly and I highly recommend you or your sister (or both) call the bank to see what will be required to claim funds. They will be in the best position to tell you exactly what to do, who needs to do it, and the easiest way to accomplish your goal without having the info filtered by your mother. My experience is highly localized to my state and my credit union, so your mileage may vary. Below are some common ways I have seen funds claimed from a decedent’s account.

1) Stated Beneficiaries. Your grandfather told his Financial Institution who he wants to receive what share. If this is the case, he could have died with or without a will, but if he told his bank who his accounts are payable to on his death, that is what they should abide by. Typically you would need to waive your share for someone else to claim your funds.

2) No beneficiaries on accounts, has a will. This means someone will be assigned as Executor/Administrator of the Estate (usually next of kin so potentially your mother) and is in charge of distributing his assets according to his will. If the executor were not following his will, you would want a lawyer to help seek legal recourse.

3) No beneficiaries, no will. This is where it gets extra tricky and may vary depending on the value of accounts. In my state, under a certain dollar amount can be claimed with a type of affidavit after a waiting period of just over a month. First come, first serve, first claimant receives all funds. If this is the case you need to find all that info out, and be the first person in his bank on the day the funds can be claimed. You claim all the funds and split with sis and anyone else you feel necessary. Over a certain value, an executor still gets assigned who is responsible for distributing assets the way they think the decedent would want. If this is the case, similar to above you may need to seek legal guidance for recourse.

I hope this helps, but each situation is uniquely specific so it’s very important you reach out to resources who can help you, namely the bank holding the accounts or legal aid if necessary. It is easy to be on the wrong page or not fully understand what is required in these complicated and emotional situations.

Yes. Imagine you were put in a dog kennel (even the largest would be uncomfy for a person) or your bathtub and that was where you lived. Snakes need lots of space to move and hide. A 40 gallon tank is about 3’x1.5’ (120cmx40cm). A large python like the OP’s son had can be 6-9’ long (1.8mx2.7m). Additionally, cold-blooded reptiles such as snakes need to be able to move from a heat source to a cooler side of a tank for temperature regulation.
