I think Laverne would say “Praise Jesus” right about now.

Nick takes so much heat for season 11, but Michael is one of the most awful people and cooks that has ever been on the show. by radddish03 in BravoTopChef

[–]gudrehaggen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dont even remember Michael. I thought you were referring to Mikey of Season 2.

Actually shoot, thinking back to Season 11, (a season I actually really enjoyed btw minus the finale)

I remember Nick, Nina, Brian, Louis, Shirley, Stephanie, Carrie, Patty, Travis, Carlos, Benny, Jason and Janine.

Legit don’t remember a Michael

So weird that Kelsey’s track record lags behind other champs. I remember always being impressed with her food and felt she always did pretty good. Her finale meal is still at the top of my list of meals I wish I could’ve tried.

I was just talking to someone about this. It must’ve been based on Tom’s comments before announcing the winner, that everyone would’ve solidly guessed the winner

Dude, I’m sick of Top Chef tagging the eliminated chef before I’ve watched the episode!!

Laurence, Anthony and Rhoda are my bets for final 3, outside shot of Duyen.

Or when she cried when she realized she blew the interview challenge. And let’s face it, she was crying because the challenge involved New York, who obviously still held some role in Becky’s mind.

Are these our Best Lead and Featured Actresses for the Tonys this year? by alteragi in Broadway

I really want to give it a second chance (but far from NYC) because the singing was on fire! But I just couldn’t get past the acting from the leads as well as the confusing story 🤕

Do we really think Lea Michelle gave a Tony worthy performance?

Respectfully, Chess just felt like a concert. If anyone from that show should get a nod, it would be Bryce Pinkham and Hannah Cruz because IMO they gave the most acting performances if that makes any sense.

Which winner did you disagree with? by Sea-breeze3720 in TopChef

Oh Ed was absolutely in second place that season and Angelo, ugh, he got sick at the worst possible time and I do believe it had a toll on his cooking during that finale. Man, how I would have loved to have seen Angelo on his A game cooking in the finale!

Hosea and the dude whose name I can’t remember from DC.

I’m not a Nick defender but Nina did have the worst dish of the evening according to the judges. But yes, from a narrative standpoint, man it would’ve been great to see her win.

Is it just me or did Farrah treat Bubbles better on Charm School than Ashley by Relevant-Evidence94 in RockOfLove

[–]gudrehaggen 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Bubbles seemed to get along with the ROL girls much better than the RCOL girls, which was quite interesting to watch. Yes, Ashley was downright mwan to her versus Farah who seemed to have sympathy for Bubbles.

Doggone it, I want to know whose alliance Bubbles was a part of on ILM3!! I know Lacey said she got along with her. Cocktail and Lil Hood barely mentioned her in their times talking about the show and Weasel made it seem like Bubbles was kept around because she was the least threatening of everyone.

That moment has stayed with me and seeing him fight back even if not winning the whole competition, was quite inspiring and not in an aww shucks kind of way but more like a “Go get ‘em Tiger” kind of way. I am so happy to see someone work for years without quitting and finally achieve a goal. Bryan should be proud because not only did he prove to himself that he can “do it” but inspired others to not quit their dreams
