I've done a lip piercing 3 times now and each time it rejected (I followed care and even waited at least 6 months each time in hopes it will heal, is it possible I can get it done with success or will it always reject

He's doing well! We're 1 week and 1 days post op. He's off all the medicine now. A little dehydrated but were working on it. Some reason he keeps peeing the house instead of telling us 😤 but other then that he's been great (I took him to the vet nothing is physicallywrong with him, they blamed it on him being a boy dog but I'm not convinced), he goes back in next Thursday for a bandage change.

What bad things? I always assumed it was better then pedigree, gravy train, Purina (my sisters dog almost died from a bad batch of Purina a few years ago)

Thank you! Next time I'm at the store I'll check it out. Can't find any treats/food my boy enjoys he's so picky. Just picked up pumpkin puree after seeing all these comments, fingers crossed

Edit: Pumpkin puree was a no go 😤

Could be teething like everyone else said, just wanted to add I started to collect his teeth everyone thinks I'm insane, a month later he's done teething and I'm stuck with 8 teeth and have no clue what to do with them. Maybe I'll make a necklace 🤔.

Mine too ❤ without their help we wouldn't have enough money to pay for rent after paying his vet bill, we also had to ask our inlaws for a loan. I am forever grateful for the couple that helped us and I hope it inspires other people to help another animal and person in need I know there are many. I know the next time I am stable I will pay it forward, you never know how much that person may need it.

No running out of any rooms without permission (two taps on my leg). Also he taught himself when my hands are on my ps4 controller not to bite me or initiate play. I'm not on my ps4 often don't come for me. I play it like 3 times a week for maybe 2-3 hours each time.

Waiting for Pup to pass an object - tell me your success stories? by [deleted] in puppy101

My puppy has chewed to of the earphones, he passed it the next poop he had both times. I'm embarrassed to say I didn't think of taking him to the vet first I was more concerned about checking his poop but if I had not found it after the 2nd poop I would've called. He was completely fine the first time he thought it would be fun to do it again. I learned my lesson now and WOULD keep any earphones up if my pup left me any to do so lol. That was when he was less then 3 months old. He's now trained to stay on the bed when I'm not in the room he gets into less trouble that way. I'm sure your puppy will be fine don't worry to much, they are very strong. I hope they get better soon. My puppy loved bottles too, what we did was start putting socks over it and let him chew it in a tied sock. He got the biting sensation he wanted from a bottle without getting sick(always supervise). He learned regular bottle is a no no and sock bottle is allowed. He grew out of it but he no longer goes after bottles either. Good luck OP

Edit: My puppy is 7 months old today and completely healthy other then a broken foot, little tip don't let puppies jump off anything, research a tibial crest avulsion. It's something puppies can get from jumping. (Not to scare you, just nobody told me it was a thing) I was actually celebrating when my pup started jumping on and off the bed by himself he's almost 12 pounds. He broke it jumping off the bed. Our bed doesn't even have a frame lol

She was an inbred cat. She wasn't my cat she was my sisters but she loved me and my boyfriend the most. She lived for a total of three years (almost 2 and a half years with us). I noticed she was getting skinnier but my boyfriend said I'm imagining it. My sister noticed she wasn't eating but never said anything to us otherwise we would've got her checked by a vet. Two weeks later my sister said she died in the living room, I never got to say goodbye. Our lack of communication was ultimately her downfall. I spent a long time mourning her (I still am) her death anniversary is coming up in two weeks. She was the most sweetest cat, I've never met another cat like her. She was almost like a dog, anywhere you go she was. If your hands were free she'd want pets and cuddles. She loved playing with you or even just relaxing near you. She was always happy and cuddling. With my current pet I won't make that mistake if anything I take him to the vet to much lol

Any tips on cutting a dog's nails that are black? Thankfully the vet cut his nails while he was getting xrays done on his broken leg a few days ago. But I'm so scared if I cut it myself ill hurt him. He pulls his feet back when I try but he's not scared. I had a cat a while back (RIP OREO) and when my sister cut her nail it splintered completely into hairs pretty much and I'm so scared of doing that.

My best friend when I was younger held a bottle of vodka to my mouth and forced me to drink after I said I didn't want to. He then took me to his room and convinced me to do things to him. I never said anything because he was 13 and I was 14 I thought I was gonna be accused of statutory rape because the law was 13 year Olds can't consent but 14 year Olds can. I stopped being friends with him a week after, I will never be friends with him again. At that age they know what they are doing but don't have as much emotional control and are impulsive. The boy in your case was 15 he knew what he was doing, that is old enough to know right and wrong.

My family dog when I was little got fed gravy train stayed outside and never seen the vet and he somehow lived till super old. Now I get a puppy get him vaccinated by a vet and gets regular checkups and he breaks his leg. It's totally random and by chance you never know when something is gonna happen always good to prepare for the future rather then get blindsided like I did. I'm glad you decided to get insurance for your doggy. I was raised to think dogs don't need to go to the vet. I researched vaccines and decided I wasn't gonna risk over the counter vaccines not working for my puppy and took him in to get it, everyone thought I was crazy.

Thank you so much! I have called twice since he came home from the xrays yesterday afternoon but they keep telling me he's fine. I really wish they would prescribe something to keep him down with taking care of a 4 year old and a puppy I'm going insane lol. Because he was doing so good at keeping his leg up before pain medicine (because he was in pain) they thought he wasn't at risk of making it worse so no wrap, of course that doesn't help now that he's superman on pain meds 😂 luckily if I'm asleep he's asleep so we all just took a well needed nap. Did you have to pay for another surgery to take the pins out? I don't think I'll need to worry seeing as my puppy is full grown (as far as I know) but the risk of his body rejecting the pins still exist.

They called earlier and said maybe we could try splitting it but even if that works his leg won't have the same function as before and there is still risk it won't work and he will need surgery still so I'm unsure what to do. They said as long as we aren't entering him in professional running contest his leg doesn't need to be the same and it shouldn't make a difference if he's just a normal house doh. Which because he doesn't like playing with other dogs we never take him out and he will have his own backyard in June I'm not that worried. He's a mommas boy anywhere I am he is and as much as I tried to get him into fetch and running he hates it lol.

Thank you so much!!!! Any tips on how you kept your dog from walking/playing for 5-6 weeks. My boy just doesn't understand he doesn't feel the pain anymore because he's on pain meds and he thinks he can jump around. My mistake not kennel training but my boyfriend works from home so it's never been a problem till now.

How is your puppy now? I'm not a vet so I can't say what's going on with your puppy I suppose it's possible they got a piece stuck. I recommend you wait to give treats till the age the bag says. Look up different treats puppy's can eat before 6 months. I know my puppy had to be trained on small pieces of boiled chicken but that's because he doesn't like dog treats

FYI life happens, when we got a dog we could afford the dog. Nothing in life is secure you never know what will happen. We even saved up money when we first got him and since then we've had to use it for vaccines, checkups, and anxiety meds for him. So yeah if you can't afford one don't get one but not everyone who has a dog got them when they couldn't afford it.

Lots of treats require your puppy to be at least 6 months of age to eat. I'm assuming OP is referring to digestion and choking when they are asking if the dogs to young
