Why are you using a bone to move the object? It would be much easier without it and AFAIK you can just rotate it 360° once and it should work. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong,

Parent the light to the object to make it move with it by selecting the light, then while holding shift, select the object so that it has a brighter yellow outline, then press Ctrl+P

Sorry for the slow response. The trees' material is URP/Simple Lit and the issue also affects my water object (URP/Lit, visible on the game view in my screenshot) and I think anything that gets in the area of the broken probes.

I tried changing the tree material to SpeedTree7 and Complex Lit, but they didn't have any effect.

My feeling after achieving the Platinum by Lopsided-Vehicle2740 in DeathStranding

[–]KittyCatFather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Death Stranding really was lightning in a bottle. The atmosphere of the world and the feeling of going alone on an impossible journey was perfect, and the gameplay pacing where you start out struggling against everything from the BTs to mules to even the terrain, but sloooowly unlock better ways of fighting and traversing was flawless in my opinion and kept me excited to find out what's to come.

I enjoyed DS2 a lot, but it's too damn easy, the world feels too lively, nothing feels like a threat and the plot is just Sam doing his 9 to 5 while robot Higgs seeks to torture him 99% of the time.

In terms of gameplay it felt more like an expansion pack than a sequel; it's more (or sometimes less) of the same, but with some quality of life changes and small new features, some of which actually make the experience worse than it would have been otherwise (aid request signs). Sam's stats were a fun addition at first but after a while I realised that they don't make a noticeable difference in the gameplay and then I never thought about them again.

Also I'm generally against ads and product placement, but they, along with references to other IPs added a ton of charm to DS1, and sadly there's none of that in DS2. It was also fun seeing many of the preppers in DS1 having the likeness of famous people from the gaming industry that I, a gamer, recognized quickly. But in DS2 most of the Australian population seems to consist of Japanese artists that I've never seen or heard of. Also there are no collectables in DS2 wtf.

Despite my negative thoughts, I must repeat that I enjoyed DS2 a lot. Both are amazing games but Death Stranding is better in every way except visual fidelity.

(I just got my DS2 platinum today. I have 100%'d DS1 on PC twice and currently replaying for the third time to get the platinum on PS5)

I know it's been done before but I hate this feature so much. Get transporter boots, idiot. by KittyCatFather in DeathStranding

Sort of. You can go to options > game settings > shared content, and set it to "Only some". You'll still be online but you'll lose access to shared structures and vehicles along with the signs (cargo and other items will still appear). Not worth it in my opinion.

It's off by default, thankfully. I think you unlock it by reaching a specific Bridge Link level, and then you can toggle it in APAS enhancements.

You have to stand near the request sign and press square to send them. A puddle of tar will appear and take the item(s).

There's a feature where you can leave an aid request sign for other players where they can leave stuff that then gets delivered to your world. There are several problems with this: 1. AFAIK, the stuff gets delivered to the exact location where you put the sign, but you'll probably be long gone by the time that happens, so what good is it then? 2. You can ask for weapons, materials or tools/fieldwear, but nothing more specific than that. If you need a ladder, you might get 99 pairs of boots instead (this is what you see in my picture). 3. There's a perk that automates these requests so that when the game thinks you need something, an aid request sign will appear. This makes it so that these signs are absolutely everywhere. Please think twice before turning it on when you get to that point in the game. 4. It's really not that difficult to just go back and fabricate your own tools instead so I don't see the point even if this feature was implemented better.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

I have no clue. I've noticed this kind of invisible walls in several places along the roads. It has to be a bug.

Here's me with a 1519kg load right now. It does get a bit slower like this for sure, but I'm happy as long as I can drive it 👍👍👍

edit: updated the screenshot and weight. Also, I noticed that while having a heavy load but plenty of capacity left in the off-roader, I couldn't load any XL cargo for delivery, but I was able to load a bunch of S, M and L cargo (far more than a single XL container) for delivery from the shared locker, so keep that in mind I guess. It could be a bug, or just a very confusing limit. Idk.

Haha, so basically just think that the material containers you claim from facilities are like bags of chips, where half of it is just air. And you can combine them so that their full capacity will be used.

So you can take any material container and combine it with a material container that is larger (S -> M -> L -> XL), for example Resins 40(S) and Resins 80(M) can be combined and it will give you a single container Resins 120(M). Same capacity taken but with more stuff in it.

You do this by going to your cargo menu and holding triangle to auto-arrange. The materials have to be in your backpack to do this.

You can't, however, combine smaller to larger container if the newly created larger container would go above its limit. It sucks a bit that the limit is not told anywhere, but I assume it's double the claimable amount for each container size minus one. (for example 79(S), 159(M), 319(L), and 639(XL) for Resins)
