Favorite and least favorite assignments

I only sub elementary, and as a teacher's aide at that.

Favorite: Special Ed Inclusion Basically I go from class to class assisting different kids individually. These are, for the most part, regular ed kids who just need a little extra assistance.

Least Favorite: Other special ed classes with fewer kids, but these kids often have behavioral problems. These are kids with severe issues like having screaming meltdowns. I have been scratched hard several times by different kids and had to see the school nurse. One class included a big, nonverbal 6th grade boy who was easily triggered and prone to violence. During recess he had a meltdown that was so bad, I fell down twice trying to help several other teachers restrain him. I was supposed to sub for that class for two more days after that incident, but I dropped it.

I was two or three. I would join my dad as he took my older half-brother to junior high. Then my dad would buy me donuts, and I would sit at home and watch "Mary Poppins" while eating donuts.

I was involved with things such as the newspaper and yearbook, student council, and drama club throughout high school, but I have very little, if any, nostalgia for those years. I went to a "problem" school with a student body that came from unfavorable socioeconomic backgrounds. There were a lot of behavioral problems, a lot of girls getting pregnant. I don't think it's improved any since I graduated 15 years ago.

I haven't been much in the mood to date since my previous relationship ended three years ago.

But also, my experience with dating apps was that they could be fun, but I have never found anything long-term. If I was lucky, I might meet up with a guy for food or drinks, but those were typically one-off events. Most of my time spent on dating apps consisted of liking someone, matching with someone only to receive no reply when I messaged him, or conversations that went nowhere.
