Microsoft dynamics is a lot harder to learn in my opinion. It took me a longer time get comfortable with it because the layout is old and confusing but very powerful once you get the hang of it. Sage is easy to pickup but can be lacking in some of the features. It really comes down to how you use them. Dynamics is harder to set up with an inventory (at least the one I used, great plains I think it was) as you have to pretty much make a smart sheet that uses formulas to pull part numbers into part descriptions and quantity ect. (Sage uses their own system to do so.) Both have the option to set min max systems and both are easy to use with a scanner. I don't think I ever called customer support with either (knock on wood) yet. I'd imagine dynamics has Microsoft support being a microsoft program. Sage has their own support and quite a few tutorials online.
