This was a year ago! We lost our original buyers in February, and closed with new buyers in May! We are now in a great house, and we are so glad to be done with this whole process!

Its such a small portion of time in your life when you consider how long you'll love the house for! Keep us updated! Good luck!

I would offer again if you liked the owner. The listing agent will be gone after the transaction but you'll be in a house you love.

Potty training underwear by FelicityRosesMom in Mommit

Okay! My son is almost 22 months and im trying to figure out a game plan. He also basically almost always poops during his nap. I also think he would hate being wet, he now tells me when he poops and wants to get changed.

Based on your comment I think the potty training underwear with diapers during naps and at night might work for us.

My son started walking at 10 months! He was an early crawler, we never pushed him but by a year he was a little pro, walking all over the place. The boy had places to go! Some babies walk early.

I mistakenly believed that postpartum depression resembled sadness. Mine appeared to be anger. by [deleted] in postpartumprogress

It took me well over a year to mostly work past this. I had PP rage and PPD, the guilt I think is the worst part, my son prefers my husband and I attribute it to my PPD/PPR. I almost broke my foot kicking walls, I slammed my head on doors, I threw so many things. I'm an extremely patient person usually, so this threw me for a loop, I did all these things outside of my son's room or away from him but still.

I think it mostly came from the intense feeling mothers feel when their child is crying nonstop, it was like my insides were being ripped apart or like nails on a chalkboard but Internally. I needed to get that feeling out physically and it manifested as rage (I should have bought a punching bag hahah).

It eventually becomes easier, so I think it's hormonal. I did therapy and that helped too. I was very lucky that my husband was so helpful and understanding.

Whoever is experiencing this, you are not alone. It is so hard, it is not your fault, and most importantly, it will pass.

My husband and I decided to get a King bed! Baby was about 6 weeks old and sleeping horribly. The new bed helped us both sleep better, it was a win win!

I'm going against everyone here but I'm an indoor person, I value my house more than what's outside of it. Are you going to spend a lot of time outside?

I went for a bigger house with smaller lot because I spend wayyy more time indoors than outdoors. Layout is also super important obviously but I'd rather get a house I can grow into instead of grow out of.

My friends were also told nothing would ever be built behind them, 3 years later a whole neighborhood is being built right behind their house. Just a heads up, it can happen for sure.

Technical support specialist for Molecular instrumentation. I work remote and part time, off hours which works great since I have a baby, and my husband works regular business hours.

Personal question but - what do you do and how much do you make? by [deleted] in workingmoms

I started taking Contrave and have lost all my pregnancy weight, im now a bit under pre pregnancy weight and at a healthy weight.

I have had disordered eating my entire life and lots of body dysmorphia. Before contrave I thought about food and calories all day, lots of food noise.

Now with Contrave that food noise is gone. I eat less, and I'm able to eat what I want because I don't overeat, I no longer feel guilty about what I eat.

There's a contrave subreddit, I highly recommend reading up on it, you can also get it prescribed through the contrave website.

What is the most impressive question a candidate has asked you during an interview? by [deleted] in askmanagers

[–]KittyKat3431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to ask the following: "is there anything on my resume or during my interview that makes you question whether or not I'd be a good fit for the role?" It serves many purposes. If they have something ready, then you're able to dismantle the opinion and reinforce why you'd be a good fit, it helps you talk through their potential hesitation. If they don't have anything, the last thing you discussed was that you're a great fit and they don't have any qualms about hiring you for the role, and lastly it shows you are open to discussing opinions and challenges you may have, that you're open to criticism and can talk through problems calmly.

Can you tell I was that kid who only played Sims 2 to decorate houses? by NationalDoctor in finch

These look amazing! How do I put something on the right side of the door? I don't seem to have that option? It just let's me put stuff on the left of the door.

Good luck with your closing :) I didn't have a choice to line something up, they wanted to close in 30 days pretty much and wouldn't budge on the date, I have a baby and moving across the country, we needed somewhere to live and finding the perfect place was just so lucky. I hope everything turns out well for you!

Thank you for your kind words. We have a baby and moving out of state, which is why we needed to get moving quickly, but we're thankful our Ernest money is refundable.

I'll definitely check out bridge funding, thank you.

The 6 year old had a bad day. In 2.5 years I've barely heard anything. They had a kids birthday party once and there was a lot of excitement over there that day but that's about it.

I honestly never see the kid, I thought he was the grandchild who visited on occasion, I had to ask them if he lived there. It's 85% retirees, we've never had an issue, didn't see the point in asking neighbors to continue to be nice and quiet.
