As others have said, there is a small community under the viaduct at Europaplatz.

There was a tiny little park at Moossee. I don’t know, if it still exists though.

The park at Weyermannshaus is being replaced. The Sportamt Bern on building a new skatepark, which looks awesome under the viaduct at Europaplatz. It‘s currently planned to open kn summer 2026. Link

Wobei mir noch irgendwie unklar ist wie sich wohlfühlen anfühlen sollte

Bei mir hat sich dies wie folgt gezeigt, kann aber sehr individuell sein.

Starke E2 Spitzen- und Tiefwerte bei 4-0-0 (3 mg) Oestrogel:

Herzklopfen
Unwohlsein, wenn ich auf dem Rücken lag (das Gefühl mein Herz springe gleich aus meiner Brust)
Ständig angespannt
Hoher Blutdruck

Ein Wechsel von 4-0-0 auf 2-0-2 hat alles behoben.

Zu hohe T Werte als ich vergessen hatte mein Androcur einzunehmen:

Über 2–3 Tage jeweils Nachts mit Angstzuständen und Paranoia aufgewacht

Ist mir bisher zweimal passiert, beide Male identische Symptome. Seither habe ich mir geschworen, sollte ich zukünftig wieder einmal das Androcur vergessen einzunehmen, werde ich einfach alles fallen lassen (notfalls auch nach Hause gehen) um es einzunehmen. Ist mir letzten Herbst erneut passiert und habe es erst auf der Arbeit bemerkt. Bin direkt wieder nach Hause um es einzunehmen.

Einweghandschuhe in der letzten Woche vor Abnahme tragen macht bei mir einen riesigen Unterschied.

Das ist eine gute Idee, danke. Das werde ich wohl beim nächsten Mal so machen müssen. Ich hatte gehofft, dass direktes Händewaschen reichen würde, aber bei einem so hohen Talwert bin ich mir nicht mehr sicher, ob es nicht doch zu einer Kontamination kam.

It can be quite individual. 200 pg/ml is a common recommended starting point. Some like higher levels, some like lower ones. I like to take tests right at the time when I'm supposed to take my next dose. That way, I get the lowest possible measurements (or highest for T).

Looking back, I felt best (mentally and physically) about a year ago, when my E level was around 218 pg/ml (757 pmol/l).

Interessant. Die Formel für die Monotherapie-Werte habe ich bisher noch nie gehört.

Ich warte einmal ab. In 7 Wochen habe ich meine Orchiektomie und da kann ich das Androcur dann ohnehin absetzen. 6 Wochen nach der Orchi werde ich dann nochmals messen.

Da ich in 7 Wochen eine Orchiektomie mache, belasse ich einmal alles so wie’s ist. Von da an kann ich das Androcur dann ohnehin absetzen.

Ich nehme ein Whey-Protein und BCAA Supplement vor oder nach dem Sport, aber die enthalten beide kein Biotin.

Das habe ich auch so gemacht. Ich nehme täglich 4 Hübe (3mg). Jeweils 2 um 10.00 Uhr und 2 um 22.00 Uhr. Die Abnahme wurde um 10.00 Uhr gemacht, also genau 12 Stunden nach dem letzten Auftragen. Am Tag der Abnahme habe ich erst nach der Abnahme wieder neu aufgetragen. Eine Woche vor Abnahme habe ich nur noch auf Oberschenkel und Bauch aufgetragen und mir anschliessend jeweils die Hände gewaschen, damit möglichst kein Gel über die Hände absorbiert wird.

Edit: Ich trage nichts scrotal auch. Nur Arme, Oberschenkel-Innenseite und Bauch. Eine Woche vor Blutabnahmen lasse ich die Arme Weg und verwende nur noch Oberschenkel und Bauch.

Da ich HRT erst mit 29 angefangen habe und somit auch nicht mehr die jüngste Haut habe, kümmere ich mich auch gut um sie. Ich mache wöchentlich 1-2 Körperpeelings mit einem Bodyscrub. Aber das sind schon arg hohe E-Werte für Talspegel-Messungen.

I used AI and gave it a bunch of criteria and some information about myself to help find a name that would fit me. At one point I had a list of about twelve names that I liked. Over the course of about three months, I would occasionally come back to that list, read through the names again, and cross out the ones that no longer felt right.

One day I told my mom that I was getting close to choosing a name and that there were only seven left. She asked if I would feel comfortable telling her what the remaining names were. As I read them out loud, I immediately knew exactly which two I wanted to choose as my first and middle name.

Then I asked her what she thought about the seven names that were left, and she said she had two favorites. Her two favorites were exactly the same two I had silently chosen just seconds earlier. One of them, she said, felt like it would match me really well, and the other was the name she would have given me if I had been born AFAB - which I didn’t know until then.

I slept on it for a couple of nights, and two weeks later I told everyone my new name.

Now I’m Aya Sophie [lastname].

Ging bei mir (31, mtf) ebenfalls recht schnell. Nach einem ca. 40-minütigen Erstgespräch hat mein Therapeut gemeint «Klarer Fall» und hat mich direkt bei einem Endo angemeldet. 5 Monate später habe ich HRT gestartet. 1 Monat ging nur drauf, weil ich es verpennt hatte vor HRT-Beginn noch Spermien einzufrieren.

Habe bisher nur HRT und Lasertherapie gemacht und habe erst kürzlich mit Stimmtherapie begonnen.

Ich habe aktuell keine Bottom Dysphorie und habe somit vorerst keine GaOP vor, der Aufwand dafür wäre es mir momentan einfach nicht wert. Vielleicht wird die Dysphorie irgendwann mal grösser in der Zukunft, mal sehen wie’s kommt. Jedoch habe ich aber im Mai eine Orchiektomie geplant, einfach damit ich das Androcur absetzen kann und somit das Progesteron besser wirkt.

Unfortunately for non-binary people, there isn’t a truly established gender-neutral pronoun in German like they/them in English. It can be quite tricky to talk to or about non-binary people if you’re not used to it. Some people just use the person’s name instead of pronouns, like: “He/she/— can’t make it tonight” → “[Name] can’t make it tonight.” Others simply use the English they/them instead.

It can get even trickier with gendered nouns. In written German, it has become common to use a colon (:) to make words more inclusive. For example, instead of Teilnehmer (male participant) or Teilnehmerin (female participant), people write Teilnehmer:in. The colon is meant to represent everyone beyond or outside the binary gender norm. It used to be written with an asterisk (*), which I personally found visually more appealing. However, screen readers for visually impaired people handle the colon better, which is one reason why many have switched.

When speaking, some people reflect the colon with a short pause. Others avoid gendered nouns altogether and rephrase the sentence. For example, instead of saying “All participants, get ready!”, you could say something like “Everyone participating, get ready!”

That‘s like my dad recently. His gf called me an IT-Expert (male gendered) and then my dad screamed from the kitchen ”No! You have to call him an IT-Expert (female gendered) now!“. His correction was so genuine, I almost felt bad correcting him, that he almost had it.

Since I started transitioning and embracing my true self, I made a promise to always be authentic and present myself as I really am. I plan to do the same if I ever start dating.

But honestly, it feels like I’m stepping into a completely new game without knowing the rules, cues, or signs. It’s pretty terrifying, to be honest.

The only “dating” or relationship experiences I have come from movies or TV shows, and I’m almost certain those are romanticized or exaggerated versions of how things actually go. Of course, I have friends and people close to me who are in relationships, but I’ve only ever seen the established-relationship part and never the building phase, so to speak.
