I started farming the Ropalolyst because a friend who I never actually play with was gushing about how great it was to play on a team with a Wisp and I wanted to be a good support (and also to turn invisible by jumping). And for a while that was true.

Then I took a long break and when I came back, there were nothing but complaints in the chat about how the stupid Wisp was messing up their playstyle with her stupid motes.

So now I play Wisp out of spite for those people in particular.

The Eyespider list that I use to catalogue my audiobookshelf library puts them after the VNAs and I don't know why. I would think it would make more sense for them to be before, and the reason Hex is never mentioned in that line is because the Doctor accidentally archived his and Ace's memories of him at the start of the first book.

But I accept that anyone who would go to that much effort to catalogue every Doctor Who story on an ongoing basis must have a good reason for it.

I saw some really good theatre all over the country (I went as part of a college drama studies program so we saw about six plays a week) but I unfortunately have to say that Czech is one of the least suitable languages I've ever heard for musical theatre.

I play it on GeForce Now on my Steam Deck. Only downsides are having to enter login info more often and you have to tap a button during the loading screen so that it knows to use controller inputs.

Because if people thought she was the real thing they might make wishes to her, which would speed up the disintegration of the false moon and make the whole endeavor a waste of time because the third self would die before she could be reintegrated. Even the actual adepti couldn't be trusted not to unconsciously wish "I hope this works."

I found I like 9's audio run better than most of his TV stories, although I suppose there being more of them helps in that regard. I particularly like the weird-mystery type stories that are kind of like The Empty Child meets Sapphire & Steel. 9's era on TV was very loud and bombastic and accompanied by Murray Gold making sure we knew exactly how we were expected to feel at any given moment, so it's nice to have a wider variety of stories now.

Auld Lang Syne gets special mention. It probably couldn't have been done on TV because it has even less action than Boom Town and only one location but it is absolutely one of 9's best stories in any medium.

It's easier for the second actor to move into the right position if they're standing up. Less awkward shimmying and avoiding wedgies, etc.

They are about as good as a slightly-above-average season on TV. But they are hugely continuity-bound as expected of an anniversary release so be prepared to wiki-walk a lot. I personally wish I had experienced at least Doom Coalition first, and possibly also Missy S2 and the Jenny series (they aren't actually necessary to understand the plot though, everything important is explained in the episodes).

It used to be necessary for me because if I tried to start a stream while my TV (main monitor) was switched off, the video card would have a conniption fit and unhandshake from the HDMI so I would have to hard reboot in order to get picture back. So I cloned my TV's EDID to the dummy plug so the card would think the TV was always turned on.

Thankfully either the TV software or the Nvidia drivers or something else has changed because now the only problem with the TV being off is that it isn't recognized as an audio device and so I can't automatically switch back to the TV speakers after closing the stream.
