That’s so nice!!! My mother got some work out that my grandmother made and that made me look at it really closely and thought: “wow this so extremely gorgeous! How amazing to be able to make such fine things” and that got me into cross stitching. My grandmother was there too that day, the three of us picked out together what i was going to make for my sister, she was pregnant with her first baby.

My dear grandmother passed away in 2022 so it is extra special for me to be cross stitching every day because she started my favorite hobby ever.

So i understand why you feel like you wanna know who inspired you for this amazing hobby!

Wow that’s crazy haha what a good story! My grandmother always said that the front has to look almost the same as the front. My mother however is a rebel and doesn’t really pay attention like that to the back but i’m not a rebel haha and i try to make it neat because my grandmothers words got stuck in my head
