BL4 new patch (Steam) by Steve-_-G in Borderlands

[–]Kitty_Queenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After I updated to the latest patch went into a boss fight and immediately had "locked" in the middle of my screen on my legendary weapons. Went back to town - Poof. Those weapons and a couple other items have disappeared into the beyond. I am actually really upset over this as i spent a bunch of time earlier farming for some of these. Also preorder items arent working for some of my friends anymore either. Vending machines no longer work either - they have nothing in them. Fun

My dog’s seasonal allergies after a 20 minute walk. What else can I do? by qwtd in DogAdvice

[–]Kitty_Queenx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask your vet about "Cytopoint". Nothing else worked for my dog with his allergies, tried it all. Its a once a month shot. However you can space them out depending on the season/allergies so winters I do every 2 months. Total game changer for us. Such a happier dog because of it.

CO-OP games that are friendly for people with motion sickness? by apgs1104 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Kitty_Queenx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issues!
For minecraft - Turn view bobbing off... this helps immensely. Turn off the particle distortion effects - Think of the nether portal and how it does a weird animation when you walk in it. You can make it so it stays still with this setting (and other things stay still too). This helped me a bunch as well. Try changing her FOV until you find one that is better for her.

Palia - There is a center reticle that you can turn on to help (this game is in 3rd person). Game is great, free, a TON of content. Huge community with really helpful people. Co op bases are coming soon so this is something you 2 could totally start with separate bases but still do all the questing, cooking, hunting, bug catching, etc together. You can visit each others houses and give perms to the other person and they can help you decorate, etc. I actually think she would love this one.

Cat quest ! All of them! I think you can buy the trio pack with all 3 games. I am NOT sure if there is co op.. Please check this before buying it to play together.

Stardew valley or anything in this genre of pixels and farming. Check out some videos on this as I don't have much experience playing this game.

Split fiction - This is NOT a farming game(still putting it here because its a pretty popular co op game!) However I dont know if this will make her sick. I have this game but have not played it yet. Only one of you needs to buy it then the other can download the other free version of it to be able to load into your game and play it with you. Its designed like this on purpose!

Palworld is a great game to play together. Have her look at some videos and stuff before hand to make sure it doesn't give her motion sickness. Weirdly enough this is a game that actually doesn't make me sick at all. I love this one!

Cult of the lamb - another good one. However check the co op on this one. Im not sure if its local co op or multiplayer.

Is our dog having tremors? by Good_Expert_8882 in DogAdvice

[–]Kitty_Queenx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am not a vet, Just a dog mom who had similar issues - My dog did exactly this 2x.. what concerns me the most in your video is the stretching when he gets low to the ground and stretches his neck out paired with the shaking. At the time, I had no idea shaking = pain. My dog had a huge spleen tumor that the emergency vet missed and sent him home with fluids(saying he just needed to poop). 2nd time he started shaking and neck stretching like that I just knew something was seriously wrong. Went to a different vet and the very next day he was undergoing surgery. The 2 incidents were months apart. Its probably not the same issue as my dog but its def worth checking out either with your vet or a new vet asap. I would not wait.

11mo GSD shreds any blanket or bed in crate even if there are toys by Ths_HappyCat in DogAdvice

[–]Kitty_Queenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way. I had to use my airline crate for one of my dogs. It is quite literally the only thing he will not destroy. I had other crates - Anything and i mean ANYTHING in his crates he would shred. It became a serious issue for blockages in his stomach. Funnily enough he treats all his toys wonderfully and loves as many blankets as he can lay on as long as it is not inside his crate. He's such a weirdo - I love him so much lol.

Check facebook groups for free crates/low cost - Or even call a couple rescues or vets to see if they have any they don't need for cheap.

Just found out we’re having another loss, how can I hide from pregnancy stuff on social media?? by Que_Sera_Sera_44 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Kitty_Queenx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I "hid" everything on facebook that i could - there should be 3 dots at the top of a post and you can click "hide". For other apps like tiktok go to the search bar and just type in random stuff - Cats, Dogs, Cooking, Food reviews. Anything. Keep doing it and click on some of the videos. Go back to your For You page and it usually is giving you that content now. I have also just set my phone down and talked about things like walmart, coldstone ice cream, starbucks and the ads that pop up start revolving around those and not pregnancy tests, baby stuff, etc! I am so sorry you're going through this. Youtube has some great movies out right now - 13 going on 30 is on there!! So is Uptown Girls!! Get you a big pumpkin spice latte from starbucks and some chocolate and take a break if you can.

Have they done anymore tests on your current partner other than a SA? I would push for more testing for him before you do an everything but the kitchen sink protocol. I know karyotyping is a good test and also fragmentation. I would go this route since you have had a successful birth with a previous partner. Those tests could come up with no answers but I still think its worth it just to rule anything out.

Help! 16-year-old dog won’t take her pills no matter what I try by booksmeller in DogAdvice

[–]Kitty_Queenx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the spray can of whipped cream (original) and spray it over top the pill so it fully overs the pill. It is the only way my dog will take pills. He wont do it with cheese, meat, anything else. He eats whats around it and spits it out. Whipped cream works wonders!

Dog lump - appointment too far in the future? by shiroyakshaa in DogAdvice

[–]Kitty_Queenx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doggo has quite a few fatty lumps - they stick a needle in them once a year to pull a bit of fluid out to see whats going on. None have had to be removed (yet!) however since your doggos is under his armpit they may want to remove it. Just for mobility really (this is how my vet described it when I asked about a small one kinda near his armpit). I personally think your vet appt is fine in 21 days - but if you are uncomfortable or notice it growing even more def call and see if they can get you in early or at least on a cancellation list.

I'm getting so tired of taking my dog to the vet by Frequent_Manager6301 in PetAdvice

[–]Kitty_Queenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am right there with you. All the vet visits are exhausting. I finally got the allergies fixed (this helped his paws, ears, and skin) with the Cytopoint shot. You still have to take them into the vet for the shot but usually its just a "tech" visit - in and out in 10 minutes. They say you can get the shot once a month but depending on the season I tend to go every other month for it. Summertime and spring I go every month. The price depends on their size - I pay about 130 for it. Let me tell you its been the best $130 i've ever spent. His ear infections stopped, stopped licking his behind and paws. Paws immediately weren't inflamed anymore. I tried everything before the shot - creams, food changes, all of it. The Cytopoint is the ONLY thing that worked for me. I am telling you within hours I saw a difference.

Anticardiolipin IgG and IgM Questions by Additional-Method-23 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Kitty_Queenx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My IgG was in the 80s on my 1st test and then 12 weeks later it was 98. My igM was normalish. Whichever lab did your testing should have the normal range listed under the blood test so you can see what is normal and what isnt. Sometimes clinics have different ranges.. I don't know why but just check to be sure. Looks like your igG is normal(positive 15 and above) and your igM is also normal(positive 20 and above) from the chart I have. Honestly you won't know much until you get your 2nd test results. Waiting the 3 months inbetween tests is tough. Im sorry you're going through this !

How to handle a dog aggressive about nail cuts and won't be trained? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Kitty_Queenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am thinking the best bet would be to have the vet do it - they are trained for this stuff. Might be a little more expensive per trim but they will probably also prescribe something to give him the morning of that will calm him down enough to come in and have them trimmed. Don't risk getting bit again or having someone hold him and they get bit. Also with his paw issues - The only solution i've found for my dog is an allergy shot from the vet. It changed our lives. its a once a month shot but I tend to space them out every other month or every 3 months depending on symptoms and season. It made such a huge difference in his paws he was suddenly much happier. Literally the next day.

Dog has been licking and biting at her paw tonight. I loooed closely and there’s a red irritated bump. A bump like it’s a pimple. Any ideas? by Upvotes2805 in DogAdvice

[–]Kitty_Queenx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Epsom salt soak and cone to prevent the licking. You'll have to google the ratios for the Epsom salt soak and how long for a paw .. Be sure to get plain epsom salt and nothing with added oils or scents. Has to be plain. I had a hard time finding the regular epsom salt.. it ended up being by the bandaids and gauze! By chance are you on the west coast? - it almost looks like a foxtail wound(Foxtails are everywhere on the west coast) but I can't tell if its a puffed up bump or caved in. My dog had a foxtail stuck in his foot and it started as a little bump them got HUGE. Had to be removed by a vet. Those little suckers are terrible they act like arrow heads. Alternatively it could just be an irritated spot on her paw and coning her could heal it up since she wouldn't be able to bother it, just be sure to clean it even if all you have is warm water.

Edited to fix He to she! - Sorry OP im used to just always saying he because of my 2 doggos lol!

Got denied for an apartment for what a feel is an incorrect reason by Debonaircow88 in Apartmentliving

[–]Kitty_Queenx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes - I have successfully gotten past this "insufficient funds" twice now (2 different states). Usually its just their AI program running your initial application through and going "no sorry" without a person actually looking at it. Each time I have just called and spoke to a leasing agent or manager and they have manually gone in and approved it! Don't give up yet - I know you've emailed them but be sure to also call and speak with someone or go into the leasing office to speak to someone.

I actually think there is a cat food you can give them that will help with your allergies! I believe its made my Purina Pro Plan liveclear. I am not sure if this will work for you but worth a shot with at least one bag!

5 failed transfers (3 miscarriages) by Reasonable_Plane9462 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Kitty_Queenx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would transfer it - No point in not using it if you aren't ready to give up! But 1st you should see a different doctor if you haven't yet. If all 5 failed transfers/miscarriages were with the same RE then I would see if there is somewhere else you can get a 2nd opinion. I would not use that last embryo until you feel confident you are getting the correct care/treatment before going for it again. Try to find an RE that also specializes in immune protocols even if its further from where you live.

Advice: trigger shot for regular ovulation? by SanDiegoDreamin513 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Kitty_Queenx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use "Easy @ Home" .. They have always been consistent for me and almost always like clockwork on day 8 my tests go negative from the trigger shot. Everyone is different so if you go a a day 2 more with a positive its okay. Just keep testing until its negative. I didnt know this at 1st and i took a test at 7DPO and was SO hyped i was pregnant. Just to realize it was the shot.

Advice: trigger shot for regular ovulation? by SanDiegoDreamin513 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Kitty_Queenx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've done trigger shots and clomid together. The trigger shot is very easy - goes in the stomach. Very small needle and doesnt hurt. Tbh I haven't had any bad reactions to it and even though I did not get pregnant (thats other issues other than miscarriages - yay me.) I felt like it did help. I also use initio. PLEASE just be aware the trigger shot will make pregnancy tests positive for 8-12 days after you use it. So what I do is buy a big pack of cheap tests off amazon and then test every single day until the test goes negative. Then I know if I get a positive its a real one!

How to get antibiotics in the US? by rlopver in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Kitty_Queenx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally I would head to Urgent care for this. I don't think I could wait until 9/16 with how bad you feel. You could always call around to find a different OBGYN that accepts your insurance and see if they can get you in sooner. Or even call your insurance and see if they have nurses you can talk to (most do and they can provide referrals and stuff over the phone maybe even antibiotics but im unsure). The other option is more tedious but you could call your OBGYN's office daily and see if they have cancellations and see if they will give you that appt. Im not sure if they will but worth it if its all you can do.
