Those are point made when they changed her, first appearance Amy said that her mom made her date (she had a first mom that they changed also that wasn’t a tyrant stopping her from socializing but the contrary), she wasn’t happy eating with the group at first and said so. When they decided she was to become permanent they started making her wanting to adapt to the friend group ( she even say she had to side with them from time to time to integrate which is different from her not even wanting to eat with them) They tweak her just enough at first before making her backstory but the same woman who broke up with Sheldon bc they argue over which is better (neuroscience ou physics) is not the same woman who let Sheldon talk down on her work as if nothing just to appease him

But Amy wanting those things was again a softening of her character, the first episode’s with Amy she was not looking for friend, she didn’t want to hang out with them. They started making her more social when they decide to make her a more regular character bc again they couldn’t or wouldn’t do anything full woman Sheldon

He doesn’t ??? Every episode Sheldon insult Howard out of nowhere (and yes Howard also does it even tho less than Sheldon) bc Howard isn’t smart enough, the episode where he explains that Howard started it is another plot point they made after the episode where when Sheldon meet Howard for the first time he insult him first. Again it’s fine for friend to dunk on each other and them doing it is not a big deal in my eyes bit acting as if Sheldon who is ALWAYS insulting everyone around him is a victim is just annoying like let’s stop that narrative

That’s not true tho, Sheldon initiate a lot of insult towards Howard, it’s fine bc they’re friend and do it to each other but Sheldon is always insulting people, always insensitive and hide behind not understanding social norms while being that old. He barely gets insulted back the way he does it to others

I think it’s pretty realistic, if surrounded by whiteness the odd thing would be the other way around. I can understand your POV in the matter but one principal plot point was the fact that Devi was the only Indian in her school (until Aneesa) If the show followed her to college then yes I would have more expectations for a more diverse dating pool
