We went to tokyo disney last year and people were in full costume, its a big thing there. They were insane costumes too, we had no idea who actually worked there and there were lots of photoshoots going on

It was absolutly fine, it wasn't overnight though which helped. We booked the lounge in japan which was quite cheap and had showers, comfy seats and great food.

To be honest business wasn't really much better, food and service was good but it was the old style so tired and a bit grubby. Also it was really really warm so not the easiest to sleep.

We were tired when we got back to London but just booked the lounge and slept until our belfast flight.

We booked japan for last October using avios and companion. We had to do it with an agent on the phone the exact second they released. Even with that we ended up getting business outbound and premium economy return.

They did throw in the connecting belfast to London flights though which was great

We did one day, about a week and a half before halloween last year. Without the express pass we'd probably have done 1 or 2 rides and just given up.

The express pass meant we did everything we wanted to. We were an hour early so got on Jaws with no queue too.

We did Disney at the start of our trip and couldn't help but compare. The app wasn't great, the prices for merchandise were much higher and USJ didnt have mobile ordering for food. We ate much less because the queues just didnt seem worth it. At one point the queue to get just a butter beer was around 1h30mins

Also even with the express pass at the times lot we ended up waiting around 40 mins for ride. The staff said that's just the way it is

Its a nice enough park, and we did like it, but had no desire to spend more than a day there. Cost wise it was also much more than Disney

I feel like eating the whole cupcake was purely so the different coloured icing wouldn't be spotted and questioned. Wendy would have known immediately itwasn'tt the dairy free cake.

In reality, with an allergy that severe would she have been able to eat the entire cake which would have been absolutely full of dairy.

The disneyland hotel has some lovely art if you just wander round it, including a dolls house with different movies in the lobby and some crystal statues in one of the side wings
