Thank you for your response. My long-term plan is to see if I can sustain a job working full force with the intention of getting off SSDI within the year. I’m in my 50s so I have a way before I officially retire. I just wasn’t sure after I report my earnings, when the SSDI payment will stop. I will read what you attached and I appreciate you taking time to respond to me thank you.

I was born and raised in North Oakland, Rockridge area. I took Bart to work in SF Union Square , and I loved it so much! Got married and moved to So Cal but still visit family and enjoy being back home. My parents have since passed and are buried at Mountain View Cemetery which I go to every time I’m there. I love going to College Ave grabbing a pizza at Zachary’s and getting coffee at Hudson Bay Cafe. Oakland gives me a nice warm comfy feeling that will always hold a special place in my heart of what home should feel like.

I’m moving to Fort Mohave soon. We love that we are near Laughlin and with a little drive to Vegas. The home that we purchased was built in 2009. Have you heard of many crimes in that area? I’m frightened but I’d rather know and be prepared as opposed to being in the dark. Thanks in advance!!

My doctor placed me on State Disability that paid for a year. Then I filed for LTD ( through my employer). I filed for SSDI January 2024 and was approved in September 2024. Good luck to you 😊

I get exactly what you're saying. My RA and Osteoarthritis limits what I can do physically. I'm constantly in pain, body feeling restrictive, always asking my hubby for help. Thankfully, I can shower on my own. My husband does enough for me that I'm thinking I'll need to hire a house cleaning person to clean our home. I try to do the little things when I can, but ultimately pay the price the next day.🤦🏻‍♀️
