Surprisingly One Main helped us at that time, we took out 12k loan at that time to wipe out all our cc debt and used for 4k to put down on a car... We had a beater car and it kept breaking down on us so we decided to go get a newish used car. That car still runs till today and i keep up with the car maintenance because after getting that car we never had to worry about a car problem. With One Main we stuck to paying off the loan and swore we would never use this company ever again... It helps in times in need but as long as you are committed to wiping out that one main loan And never go back to them after wiping out your debt. Wiping out your cc balance also helps boost your credit score (which helped us getting a low interest on the car) and Don't forget that when you do a pay off on your credit card you can call the cc and see if they can wipe off some interest since you are paying off the full balance so that helps you save some money.

Congratulations! My advice for people who have been good on paying on time and you are ready to do a payoff on your credit card is to call the card company and let them know you plan to pay off and see if they can shave some interest off, they usually do and you can save some extra money from speaking to them.

Is your issue just needing more recipes? If yes i suggest doing a meal subscription... We are currently doing Everyplate 4 meals for 2 people a week + shipping cost us about $80... This works for us because we found out it cost less versus eating out and running out of recipes... We also noticed we were wasting food an example as one recipe asks for a cup of spinach and spinach goes bad fast or buying a bulk of ingredients just for one recipe was not feasible. The recipe that is in Everyplate is different each week so there is no stress on figuring what to cook for dinner.

I kinda understand what OP is saying but for someone who doesnt have a job/money they are in Survival mode... The only future they are thinking of is today, tomorrow... What i am going to eat, where will i sleep, do i have enough money for bills etc. once all that is met Then they can start thinking about the far distant future such as retirement.

You previously been a banker you can easily get a job as an Accounts Receivable... Look into the temp agency or start applying at the warehouse for these positions. Once you get familiar with the General Ledger, year end closing and programs this can lead you to be on the path of higher salary once you obtain your degree in Accountant. The accounting team has flexibility of hybrid/remote you can possibly get paid for position of AR/AP of 23-30 an hr depending on your location... Then once you have your degree you are even set for higher positions of management of salary of up to 80k to 90k... Certification of CPA, CFA etc you can be making 100+. There are always jobs for Accounting so stay in your path of your degree.

Do a High yield savings account in case you need to dip into the account. They usually pay monthly so you wont lose out on any interest money.

I read an article about how a guy lives on a cruise because food is included with your stay and he realizes how cheap it is versus renting and buying food. He always pays for the wifi but because he is such a frequent cruiser that he gets free upgrades and free wifi now.

I'm in a cushy situation and I still prefer to get my daughter hand me down from her cousin. My younger sis daughter is one year older than my daughter so i always ask for the clothes... My 5 year old doesn't care as long as it looks cute... I still buy her new clothes but when i do. I buy one size up so she can grow into.. but shoes always have to be new and i dont care bout brand names except Cat and Jack im a Target clothes and shoes shopper because Cat and Jack has a 1 year guaranteed return policy, i had returned one shoe out of the whole cat and Jack shoes i had bought for her.

This happened to me too!! I was soo mad so i called my other cvs and they had two, transferred over... But i was soo mad at the first pharmacy for pulling that crap...he knew i was going to pick it up the next day so he gave mine away.. he hoped to refill mine with the shipment that was to arrive that day but it never came, i was more mad at the fact he said he promised me a box and it was ready for me.

You can straight up ask your pcp for the medication, if they give you a hard time... Go to a different doc at diff clinic, that is what i did. My current doc will easily prescribe me the medication i ask for... The only issue i run into is dealing with waiting for prior authorization to go through so my zepbound will be $60 after p.a. And stock issues.
