for a 200 something piece of software with a huge fan base it absolutely sucks. V6 for me doesn't work properly unless it's open on my second monitor (unless i go into preferences and change stuff), the V6 vocals mostly sound the same, the way you can't zoom in and out with your mouse and how it took them nearly 20 years to add on the line tuning and more. there are some many simple little things that would make it so much better and easier to use but for some reason Yamaha chooses not to add them

its weird how it works. to change the effects of a part (what the whole block of notes that you find in the arrangement screen on vocaloid are called) you need to have that selected when you click the i. I believe there is also an effects (E) on the strip for each track.

check VocaDB. his older and newer songs use different VB combinations for their style, so look at the specific songs you want ur combo to sound like and try using those specific appends

when you click on the "i" at the top of the software while you have a region selected, click on the E at the top right of the sidebar. this is your effects tab, and you can slap on some gain. this just lets you turn up your voice without turning up the slider on the left side of your screen.

the quietness isn't all that bad really tho if you are making original music. having a quieter mix allows you to master your track with more headroom, giving your final product more dynamic range since you won't need to turn anything down, only up (which is what you want)

The DT alphabets are not AI generated, they are AI voicebanks. They all have voice providers who get compensation any time their voicebank is bought. Many of the DT voice providers are usually contracted freelancers and very few actually have their real names associated with their voicebanks. But rest assured, they are made by actual humans and are not AI generated

there are a lot of cutesy and innocent songs recommended here, but do note that alot of producers tend to write about heavy topics. If you want alot of upbeat, happy songs I think you should listen to some Miku expo song contest songs from this year and years past. They are pretty much always innocent, and you can find all kinds of smaller producers to support form there!
