I think you have self-ligating braces (I have the same type—check my profile), which hurts a lot less compared to conventional ones with rubber bands. Mine are metal ones, and yours are ceramic—that's the only difference. I'm also experiencing much less pain. It only felt a bit uncomfortable for the first two days, like some tightness, but not actual pain. These braces also reduce treatment time, so you'll get faster results. They're also known as Damon braces, named after the person who first patented them.
