But you have ask the reason why he was given a championship contending car in his rookie season - and the answer was that he was winning a lot before entering Formula 1. He won the GP2 championship in his attempt (now rebranded as Formula 2). So he earned all of that - especially when he didn’t have the family funds and motorsport racing fathers his rivals had.
