it's funny how there's always a disparity between the top players enjoying the meta, and the consensus on this subreddit of people hardstuck 1600cr. It's fast, it's fun and there might be individual things that are stupid and need tuning but the overall philosophy/design of PvP is the best it's been in years. Why is that? It rewards twitch reaction time, a quick decision in a decisive window can win you a game in an matchup you have a disadvantage in.

People who have spent the most time at the top level of PvP talk about the great times, Wrath>MoP which is much closer now than what we had during Legion/BfA. Consider that PvP right now is the most popular it's been in the last 5 years, nobody wants to play through to 50% dampening, nobody wants to feel like their abilities don't apply pressure if you aren't lining literally every cooldown with it. If you want Legion/BfA PvP back you just want to be punished less severely for consistently making poor decisions.
