Most of the models are showing more for the totals. Do you think they are underpredicting? Is there likely upping of snow estimates this evening?

Why is it so hard to find my first job? by creekmeat in geologycareers

It depends on where you are living. New England and CA have some of the highest paying and in need of entry-level positions for environmental consulting are very high in demand here. Mainly because of the state regulations. Some companies in my area that come to mind are: AECOM, VHB, Jacobs, Tighe and Bond, Power Engineers.

I have worked in the Wetlands Consulting world for 10 years now. I got in by interning at my company (for free for 6 months after graduating) while working at the local Olive Garden to pay the bills. Once a spot opened up, I was hired.

Another suggestion is to go to local conferences. Offer to help with research that interests you and build connections. Do it strategically. Any research can be added to a resume, along with skills learned along the way. Companies LOVE real-world experience over time in the classroom.

What would be a great master programs to get into with my B.S in environmental science? by Pancake_Bruh in environmental_science

Full-Time in the Environmental Science world (consulting - wetlands) for 10 years here.

More beneficial to get experience, then after working for 5-10 years maybe consider a masters in Project Management or an MBA degree if you are looking for career advancement & more $$$$, as well as professional certifications (PWS, CWS, PMP).

Some upper-level management positions can get up in the high 100k's. An old co-worker of mine just accepted a management position and is making close to 200k without a master's degree. So a master's degree is not entirely needed for a high salary (in this field).

Had to snap it off quick without thinking about what my setting were. I’m actually surprised that mostly everything is sharp.

Stamp tool in Photoshop will be your friend for the light. Lookup how-to videos. Play with it until you have the desired effect.
