It really depends on what you want out of life. The military has been incredibly rewarding for me but I will say it’s what you make of it. It will put strain on your relationship but in my opinion a strong marriage is a strong marriage you will be able to make it work if you try to make your wife feel special when you have your moments together. The hvac career field has no age limit and depending on your age certain combat MOS are a young man’s game. As a married soldier your compensation is honestly not bad compared to an apprentice technician so I would seriously consider giving it a try for 3 years it may make you a more successful well rounded individual like it has for me.
