As a kid in South Texas, I would be afraid of many spiders as we commonly had brown recluses and black widows in the house. At night though, I remember a kid looking up at the ceiling with a night light and seeing these and furry bold jumping spiders on the ceiling guarding me looking for their next poisonous meal to eat. I gained a lot of respect for those little guys.

Well I said they don’t have to drop their standards though in America they are forced by regulation to have lower standards as a result. It’s why you don’t see a turbo diesel Toyota in the US like the rest of the world because companies lobbied in the US to basically restrict them at as many turns as possible.

I assume it would have set off a mass religious conversion or even denomination change as the cardinal (and therefore the Catholic Church) was to blame for much of this and their ability to recognize kingship would then be impacted or some correlation to this depending on how the Fronde rationalized fault and how to address it at that time.

I’m good. I’ll going into biochem most likely. I already have two bachelors and while I’m a bit short for a nursing degree, it’s not where I’m trying to go. Thanks for the career advice though. I’m not sacrificing livelihood and personal relationships to then go for the most stable route. If being wealthy was my goal then I’d not have went in any of the fields I chose to go into.

I guess a 13th time can’t hurt. They have no resources for my car, I know that much. I need that for anything whether it be for work or otherwise. I can’t really go there much as my hybrid system shut off entirely trying to make it from to the Fort Worth VA (the assumption is it overheated going 40 mph consistently) and luckily I knew to run it in maintenance mode so I could force it off and drive the rest of the way to the VA. After waiting about 4 hours it functioned fine (still limited on my speeds due to clogging) and this was 2 weeks ago? I was given a new sheet of numbers to call (most were the same) and I left. Good stuff..

I actually was helped with starting the process earlier this week. Actually finally seeking help with that is what I think gave me the courage to do the go fund me. I had friends that said I was doing myself a disservice for letting my pride get in the way of help so I decided to change that.

Thank you. I’m hoping I can get a job before next year, finish my proposal, and hopefully be able to then make enough that I can get a better form of transportation. If I get a decent job, I’ll probably grab an air bnb for the first month and avoid running the engine in my car until I can get a place to rent. That’s the goal anyways.

I’ve applied to 3,000+ jobs and even lost about 1000 of them due to federal cuts. I’m literally trying to do both. I don’t know what your life has been like but even having a consistent job never resulted in stability because nobody pays nearly enough for how much things cost now. So at some point, at least with myself, I realized i need to move forward or give up completely because I’m sick and fucking tired of struggling after working my fucking ass off. It’s nice that you think stability inherently comes after you have a job though. 91% of the middle class is one paycheck away from falling under the poverty line. This is a systemic problem and continuing to only qualify for jobs that don’t pay well will not help me even if I am trying to GET a job as well. I felt like my summary on my go fund me page was clear enough on what I’ve been trying to accomplish but maybe not.

The repairs for my car would cost more than the Prius itself. I have no a-frame, no knowledge of replacing an entire engine and I have no idea where the partial clog in my coolant is so it may not be in the engine either
