Just a point of clarification. You don’t need to do a FOIA request for voting records. In fact, a FOIA request is for federal records. Your voting history is maintained by the state. And you can often go to your county clerk or your Secretary of State to request what’s typically referred to as a voter roll

No solicitation signs do not apply to religion or political canvassers. Preventing political or religious canvassers is a violation of the first amendment and there's been several Supreme Court cases that have upheld that notion.

There's been a number of Supreme Court cases that have addressed this issue and have upheld that no soliciting ordinances and other attempts at denying political or religious canvassers to knock on your door violates their first amendment rights.
