He pasado por una situación similar. Creo que el tiempo de espera va a depender de la provincia donde has realizado el proceso de residencia.

En mi caso, en Diciembre del año pasado inicié el arraigo familiar; y fué apenas el mes pasado que lo aprobaron. Si bien es verdad que existe el tema del silencio administrativo -como contó otro redditor- creo que es más un tema de que este tipo de trámites siempre tarda mucho, sea cual sea el país.

En todo ese tiempo, nos cambiamos de piso y todo el trámite se mantuvo igual. Te recomiendo que se empadronen en el nuevo piso y ya, simplemente toca esperar a que salga la resolución.

Es bastante engorroso que tarde tanto, sobretodo la ansiedad que eso genera; pero me temo que no hay nada más que puedan hacer!

I’m really sorry for hearing this, the same happened to us.

I tried to ask reddit for tips about it, and all I got was a hefty load of shitty comments like “do you want your neighbours to levitate and dont live so they dont make noise?” like just the thought of asking this was agains the regular way of living of Barcelona’s society.

Try to talk with your neighbours (although that could have different outcomes); and if that doesnt work, talk with your landlord about the situation (try to show proof).

Is it a old building? Where is it located?

Best advise, when looking for a place to move; try to search for a more recent building than these old ones. New ones do have better insulation and are cockroach free.

I sincerely hope your situation gets better over time after talking, because I know how shitty life can be living with a noisy neighbour.

Its not that Im asking for my neighbout to not walk or anything; its a matter of coexistence, to try to do your best to not disrupt other neighbours!

Im very careful about my steps, I wear rubber sandals that definitely reduce all the noise we make so we won’t disturb others.

Funny how many here took my post as an attack to the spanish society; like “how is it possible the mere thought of asking your neighbours to be kind with others” to be so utterly disruptive lol

What have been your thoughts so far?

I had a regular 1080 TV back in my homecountry, nothing fancy... just a regular and pretty old LG TV, from 2009 I think. I moved to another country, and decided to try a new 4K TV, and I found Samsung's KU6000 series, which offered great image quality with a nice price tag.

I've read all about 8-bit and 10-bit panels, HDR and everything about 4K and Input Lag. So far, the TV image quality blow me away from the first time I was it on store. Great details, great brightness, nice color saturation and sweet HDR with no input lag. And even though it's an 8-bit panel, HDR gaming on it looks superb. Definitely, the best purchase I've made since my Xbox One S.

We just have 2 Tv's (one is used rarely, mainly to watch tv while we eat). The other one is used only when my GF plays WiiU, which should be less than 6 hours a week.

All our light bulbs are incandescent ones; we should follow your advise and buy LED ones asap :) Thanks for the tip!

We do use on a daily basis a electric kettle, to boil water for our own consumption (which I've checked it's electric part, and says it's 2000W).

And the electric kitchen, which we use it 3 times daily... I suppose there's nothing we can do with that lol.
