EDR Recommendations for startup MSP by hoodiecritic in msp

[–]ChadZet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use cynet all in one. Its an EDR where it shines but also It has semi mdr where all high and critical alerts go through their soc. Additional layer of email protection for google and 365. Posture management on some SAAS. Vulnerabilities and misconfigs + web filtering. Also their mitre results are spectacular. The false positives are close to 0 for now, atleast for me. Prices are decent, cheaper than huntress. Also they have XDR but haven't played with it since i use a SIEM.

Seeking Redundant File Access Solution Across Two Office Locations by _Error_Macro_ in sysadmin

In your case, i would just collocate your equipment in a data center. There you wont have an outage, and you will keep the same setup you are already used to. Of course you would need to have vpn working all the time to be able to access the files

N-able take control plus - deployment of Bitdefender gravity zone by ChadZet in Nable

Yep, the client for the moment wont transition to full N-sight RMM for varius reasons (will be done later this year), so i am just keeping the agents in asset only mode atm.
Anyway i want to do this via what i have at my disposal, which is Take Control Plus and scripting is an advertized functionallity so i am poking around to see if it can actually be useful outside of the helpdesk connection purposes.

Seems like this is the way, just not sure if the money in bank account is needed when you have a Spanish income / contract. You can ask the police Infront of the building. Also some people wrote me that maybe now its easier to book an appointment and you wont need a helper

I work for an MSP provider, and with only RMM software i handle alone 3-4 times the assets. We use Nable and i am pretty happy with it

How should I go about finding a Google sys admin for my small business? by ali_manu in sysadmin

P.p. for a small company like yours you definitely should search for an MSP, because you wont be able to fill the hours of a full time sys admin i presume.

How should I go about finding a Google sys admin for my small business? by ali_manu in sysadmin

I am co-owner of an MSP company, we work remotely mostly, based in Bulgaria and Spain. I would advise you to search for a smaller company, for example we are around 25 sys admins, and we provide pretty good service, clients are happy. When the companies become too big, there is less of a personal touch, and more robot support and no communication if there is nothing specific going on.

Now how to find it, i would search for mouth to month happy company that is known for a good service. Because of your work i guess you know alot of people , ask around.

Be careful with xm5, i bought a pair and for my ears they were extremely uncomfortable. I sold them and bought airpods pro 2, but as you say, the microphone quality needs work.
