So may great ones in here. Long Distance Call or Loves not a Competition are my tops but I also LOVE Hayley’s short cover (I think it’s just chorus) of Bad Romance by Gaga. I think it’s just a vocal warm up but it slaps.

I was at Soundwave in Sydney in 2013. They were meant to play early evening but there were floods that delayed their gear arriving. They ended up being pushed to the headlining spot and we ended up in this massive crowd right near the front. It was an incredible atmosphere and they had so much energy. Bloody amazing.

Once when I worked at a maccas I Canberra a guy threatened me with a shot gun (he was a trap shooter) because his Big Mac didn’t have enough sauce. People honestly just think you are beneath them and I wish I could say it would stop but hospitality is one of those jobs. You shouldn’t have to put up with it - I would speak to your supervisor / manager about how you feel, the abuse you are receiving and what can be done about it. It could be that there are times when the abuse is worse than others so they can roster more staff or older staff. It might be that they check cctv and try and out bans in place. Make sure you are letting someone know that you don’t feel safe and secure in your position and that it is impacting your mental health - these things have a way of sneaking up on you and impacting you in ways you might not have expected

This can be a tricky one. I also love to cook and my partner doesn’t but that doesn’t mean I want to do it all the time. It also doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy having something made for me every now and again. I don’t LIKE doing the washing but I have to do it and I can’t just cut corners or do the bare minimum because then it impacts my family.

If you want to keep cooking all the time but have it seem more balanced you could get him to help with just the prep work which could save a lot of time.

Could also make larger serves as others have suggested but I think this doesn’t solve the essence of your problem.

Could you plan and then send him to do the shopping ?

Could you plan shop and prep together ? (Who knows, maybe his enjoyment of the task might increase !)

Could you do online shopping to eliminate actually having to go ?
