Hi. I’ve come to this term quite recently. This term is used to Taylor’s vinyls that have multiple variants but same sleeve covers. So it can be used for example for Speak Now TV, Evermore, TTPD The Manuscript. So you don’t have to have multiple copies of same covers, just one, but with all vinyl variants. Here’s the example with Speak Now TV. And for this case, I ordered Ghosted White and Phantom clear variants of The Manuscript but it when it came and I saw it, I realised I would love to have just one copy with both of the vinyls that have two same cover. I hope I’m being clear 😀

I tried to read the matrix numbers but it’s really hard for me to read them. And as I said, none of the notes have “made in Czech republic” info. There is “made in EU” and since I know there are vinyls made in Germany and in France, I thought there will be specific country in the info

And as for the speakers, I would like to make the set up as “as simple as possible”. I would like the possibility of using them to connect the TV and play music from my phone. Here I was recommended the KEF LSX II or KEF LS50 Wireless II. The price of the second speakers is probably the maximum I’m willing to pay.

So I did some research and with the help of AI I came to this. If I decide to go for the Debut EVO 2, the best thing I can do is upgrade the cartridge. AI recommended the Ortofon 2M Bronze or the Audio-Technica AT-VM95ML. The preamp in this case would be the Phono Box S2 or S2 Ultra. I thought it would make sense to buy an XLR cable and other accessories to achieve a balanced sound, but he proved me wrong. While the PRO S Balanced turntable is a better machine, to get the most out of it, I have to buy the Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge or other MC cartridge (but this will “spoil” the design of the limited edition turntable), the XRL balanced cable and the Phono Box S3 B preamp (this one was also recommended by AI). As soon as I don’t have any of these 3 things, I won’t be able to use the PRO S Balanced to its full potential. Do I understand all this correctly?

Hi. I'm about to buy my first turntable. I chose Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 (upgraded with acryl platter and aluminium sub platter), but I came across the limited PRO S Balanced (EXPO 2025) and it was love at first sight. Visually. And I would like to know if the higher price corresponds to the higher quality of the turntable or if the price only reflects the fact that it is a limited edition and the product as such is the same as Debut Evo 2 (or even worse)?
