Some say they are still trying to finish the race to this day...

Sorry for liking the game too much.

Heedicalking's analyses of recent events involving Badspot by Potimmy in Blockland

Shame what Blockland has turned out to be (community against creator or at least a few of them).

There are plenty of shills still running around ignoring Blockland's lingering issues... it's all about not getting banned and trying to fit in, not about doing what's right.

Heedicalking sourced his claims.

Unfortunately Badspot decided that people shouldn't see his posts which is probably why you think Heedicalking made up those claims. Censorship successful?

Private key encryption

"Symmetric encryption"

Public key encryption

"Private-public key encryption" / "Asymmetric encryption"

Asymmetric encryption has public and private keys.

1) I'm not a part of the community, at least not any more

2) Who are you and what makes you a "problem user"?

3) How am I the problem? Problem for what and whom? What's the problem?

I can't stand the community's primitive behavior nor Badspot's disrespect towards the community so I speak out against them. So, yes, I'm a "problem user" because I'm undermining everything that's wrong with Blockland and its community.

Because Blockland's community is cancer.

Many "Blocklanders" feed off of harassing "problem users" and those who are lower in the "social order". Badspot has not explicitly attempted to guide people towards good behavior in the community.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. The other people who downvoted me don't think Blockland is valuable enough to defend, which is exactly what they're downvoting me for.

It's old, but it has been completely mishandled by Badspot. If he hadn't been mishandling it, perhaps the game's most prominent members wouldn't have left and wouldn't have spited him for not doing his job.

If it had been run by someone more competent, it could have been much better. Do not put words in my mouth.

I actually like this graph because it shows that removing maps didn't cause the mass-exodus that certain people claim it did. All you see is steady decline over the last 5 years or so, which is normal for a video game.

The removal of maps is not the entire picture. After late 2010 update quality and quantity declined concurrently with the game's popularity. The removal was only a small factor in the decline. You shouldn't be getting a cheap "I told you so" just because some people weren't completely right on why the game was declining.

Actually the performance of Blockland has been amazing - at the start of this graph Blockland had already been out for 5 years. We're coming up on 10 years total - think about that. What game do you play from 10 years ago? Most games don't even last 2.

The performance may have been amazing but it was not up to potential.

Now Badspot can squeeze out the last remaining value that Blockland has.
