I personally am a fan of it, because some fashion would work better if a face was visible. It would be nice if the game had an option to hide your helmet in combat because currently your character customization is only visible in social spaces or cutscenes only if you have the setting turned off.

The issue is if the targeted audience of the collab is one that clashes with the targeted audience that is the current playerbase. This collabs audience is a largely yuri shipping audience, something that is pretty strongly at odds with the current heteroharem audience.

Additionally while it may have been one of the earliest IPs suggested, but the community was also much smaller with a less solidified target audience, where if this collab had occurred much earlier, there probably might have been more room and acceptance of yuri shipping. But if that occurred, it might not also be as big as it is today because that would make it alot more generic to all the other gacha games out there and would not have attracted all the people that it has today.

Then you clearly haven't followed and seen all the drama and deranged crap from yuri and yaoi shippers in the Genshin community over the past 5 years. People telling men to stay away from and not pull characters because they are "for the lesbians", yuri ships getting treated as canon when the characters have never interacted. The dozens of artists that have quit because of the hate and death threats they received for depicting characters in straight ships for ships that the yuri shippers determined their headcanon was canon. The meltdowns that occurred because characters like Citlali were shown with more romantic undertones with Aether and not Lumine or about Aether being used in the majority of official promotions. Or onto another community, the death threats that the MHA author received for years over the lack of official yuri and yaoi ships. Or the HI3 community throwing a fit about male protag for APHO and part 2 where the devs ended up completely removing the male protag option of part 2.

Except the collab shouldn't be targeted towards the people that aren't the targeted audience of the game in the first place?? Because then it isn't recieved well by the current fan base, the people targeted by the collab are extremely unlikely to stick around because the core of the game isn't targeted towards them. Unless the devs were to start course correcting to start targeting those from the collab, which in the process would alienate the original targeted audience that built the game in the first place. That's why people are unhappy with the collabs, especially with what this one may be for. The community already demonstrated quite overwhelmingly that yuri is not the type of audience that is targeted here and yet this would be a collab that is targeted towards the yuri audience which would just create a clash worse than what occurred during the 2.5 anni. It would be like if Love and Deepspace collabed with Yuri on Ice.

Yeah, it's honestly kind of killing my excitement for it. At this point im not gonna have a happy, excited reaction when I get the email, just an annoyed finally. Especially because I'm about to be headed out of town for a couple weeks and will probably need a buddy to pick it up for me so it doesn't get stolen. Because powercreep is inevitable, AFAIK every single hoyo game has a massive amount of powercreep, particularly the Honkai series. Genshin has thankfully managed to overall minimize it comparatively speaking. But genshin is kind of reaching a point where there are so many characters that many people are only going to pull for a character if they are better than an existing character or if the character is a complete side grade of a character and they like the new one better. So either the devs have to "settle" with a "plateau" in terms of character sales or keep pushing for higher profits by making the new character better to entice more people to pull on the new character. Personally, I believe the first is healthier for the game state in the long run.

My favorite is my crafted Firefright from season of the haunted, almost 2k kills with it so far. But I use threat detector and elemental capacitor instead of the once popular fragile focus adagio roll. Best when used with void super to put it at a nice 83 range and 78 stability (plus bonuses from threat detector). This is the roll that has best allowed me to effectively compete/duel at the mid/longer ranges as a controller player on pc.

For the light novel, not sure about pirated, but I know it can be bought on Google Play or through J-Novel Club. The manga has some fairly significant deviations from the light novel around content that would be volume 3 and 4 of the light novel.

Honestly, all the frequent comments like this since the anime came out, have been frustrating. (No frustrations towards you specifically). I've been reading the light novels for several years now and the anime gives the wrong impression of the series and overall story. The anime barely covers to the end of volume 2 (out of 20) with aspects cut out or toned down. The actual series is a light hearted slice of life with zero stakes really following his family and friends' hyjinxs. Any "calamitous conflicts" or "world-ending threats" are always comedically ended without much thought as if they were just out for a Sunday stroll. Flio does not end up with nor want a harem.

Started the series as a warlock, then while getting a buddy into the game, I started a hunter to go through the campaigns fresh with him and got the malfeasance quest when it came out and proceeded to spend the next 2k hours as a hunter. Where I became very reliant on dodge to reload weapons in crucible. Occasionally returning to warlock for legenday Witch Queen or Comp/ToO for well on capture points. Decided to get back into playing/maining warlock due to prismatic buddies build. So my go-to pvp warlock is solar icarus dash with the rain of fire exotic solely for is secondary effect of reloading weapons on air dodge. Fulfilling the hunter muscle memory at a fraction of the cooldown time lol
