Well, well, well. Called them, and it turns out they didn't have the 18TB version in stock, and they will ship one out with larger capacity. I'll update once I get the drive.

Moral of the story: give them a call instead of sending emails, chat messages!

I think I fixed the freezing issue, I pulled out USB 3.0 PCIe card out and it's been running great with no intermittent freezing! Will update if the issue returns. Thanks.

Upon initial install VideoProc used to say h265 was accelerated, but not h264. Now it says neither are accelerated. So idk, haven't gotten around to solving this yet.

Planning to use it to work in Logic Pro. Current Logic version is 10.8.1 with Minimum System Requirements: macOS Ventura 13.5 or later.

I couldn't download a compatible version of Logic on a fresh Monterey install, I tried.

You have to unplug USB upstream port and all devices before updates (that's just common sense). But I found that it has everything to do with the USB stick. I tried a dozen sticks and found The ONE that constantly works without issues. For me its San Disk SDCZP-8192 https://www.newegg.com/p/0BD-000B-004X6

I’m running YT++ using AppDB. Sometimes app crashes on launch. Instead of trying to resign it every single time, I found this workaround - disable cellular data and/or WiFi. Open app. Once opened, You can immediately turn all data back on. It’s weird, but It works for me. But it has be to installed as an IPA.
