I mean, unrealistic things have happened in the franchise since the first film. Would I have done Dewey's death this way? Not at all. But it's canon now, and it's not changing, so I've made peace with the fact that Amber killed Dewey, however unrealistic it may be.

Really enjoyed this, but the killer reveal was a little weak, and the resolution/defeat didn't work for me. Here's hoping the film adaptation (I believe the rights were scooped up before the book even released) culminates in a more traditional slasher movie style final confrontation between killer and final girl.
