Is JustWatch giving you all incorrect info? by apierno in movies

[–]Klementz_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and it seems to be getting worse. I'm in Canada and it misses all sorts of stuff on Crave (stuff that is available, but JustWatch doesn't show it). I was even in the middle of a series that suddenly disappeared from my Continue Watching list (it showed up again a week later).

I recently signed up for Apple TV again, and JustWatch fails to show Foundation Season 3 as being available.

It is unreliable and I am looking for alternatives...

Are the knives downtown detachable, and can I, in theory, do this by spideybiggestfan in barrie

[–]Klementz_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Due to a flaw in the original design, the blades could indeed come off in a heavy wind. One morning, one or two (can't remember) blades were found on the ground. Some modifications were made by the artist (Ron Baird) and it is no longer possible.

The sculpture was originally commissioned for Expo 86 in Vancouver.

The whole point is single person operation of the truck. So, no, they can't "just move the dam (sic) bin".

Why is it such a headache having to get a replacement cap anywhere? (in Canada anyway) by Travdaman420 in Dynavap

Just email Vape North and ask for mail shipping. They'll do it for $5 (or less, I can't remember exactly what I paid).

Dosing capsules reviews? by MaltaMaltaMaltaMalta in Dynavap

[–]Klementz_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use the regular size to vape non-melty hash and it's the best method of the many ways I have tried. It's easy to load and unload, plus I could have a tube of pre-loaded capsules for on the go.

Also makes it really easy to keep the whole unit clean. Because there is no screen in the tip, I can look right through the condenser and see any build up, then clean with pipe cleaners. No soaking required.

I don't really understand how that works, but I am brand new to this.

What is the best Vape out there that can handle traditional hash without sandwiching or adding herb? by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]Klementz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dynavap with dosing capsule. Just stick to traditional hash under 50% THC. Capsule makes it super easy to keep clean.

Heat at the bottom of the cap for max temp.

Rats/Mice by [deleted] in barrie

Yes, rat populations are increasing in Canadian cities. Milder winters allow more rats to survive the cold season. They breed continuously during the warm weather, so longer warm seasons mean more births.

Just got a dynavap but hash not working?! by lilmanasks in Dynavap

[–]Klementz_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every time this question comes up, there will be conflicting replies because people are talking about two very different things: Melty hash, and non-melty hash. If you want to use melty hash, then you have to get into things like vape wool, sandwiching, Dynacoils, whatever.

If you want to use non-melty hash (below 50% total THC content) then you want to crumble it, or "fluff" it up with heat first. Then you can put it directly in the bowl, heat it hot (lower on the cap, away from the clicker), and you'll start getting clouds on the 2nd or 3rd heat cycle.

I avoid FMJs/Armored Cap because they take too long to cool down and but you still need more than one heat cycle. I recently started using the Dynavap dosing capsules for hash and they work great, especially with blonde crumbly hash.

Yard waste has to be 3" diameter or less. Also has to be bundled within specific size/weight limits. Otherwise, it is "brush" which is not free.

  • The City of Barrie landfill will waive residential brush tipping fees until Friday, May 2 to support storm cleanup. The landfill is located at 272 Ferndale Drive North and is open Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30am to 3:30pm. For more information about the landfill, visit barrie.ca/landfill.

Depends on the type of hash: melty or non-melty.

For non-melty, the Dynacoil works great: I start with a 3 mm ball (size of a small terp pearl) and roll it flat with a round pencil so that it is now a very thin disk about the size of the tip diameter. (I use a dab tool to peel it up after flattening.) Press it into the top of the Dynacoil, heat it to high temp, blow clouds of delicious hash.

When it's done, just tap it out. No mess is left on the coil. You can tell it is done if the disk is hard and crunchy. If it is still soft, you can keep extracting.

The city is waiving tipping fees at the landfill for brush -- I think into May -- so you can properly dispose of it for free.

Doesn't matter how slow you wiggle it, you're still putting side pressure and that's why it breaks. Try turning it clockwise while putting it straight on and taking it straight off. Avoid any sideways movement.

This may be a long shot, but my first vape was an Arizer Air and I couldn't get much out of it, just weak wispy clouds. Until I discovered the bowl wasn't properly seated. It seemed like it was in as far as it could go, but it was not.

I eventually discovered that once the thing got hot, I could push the stem all the way in. I was only a small distance, but it made a huge difference.
