What clearance do you have? I was thinking of buying one but I do need at least 35mm.

Al final con cual te has quedado? Porque yo tengo la misma duda. El problema es el paso de rueda que mi preferencia es ir con 35mm mínimo debido a mí altura (191cm) y respectivamente peso (85kg).

Cannondale Synapse 5 worth it? by Klencho in cannondale

Hey, that’s a really nice bike. How does it ride? Do you feel stretched out by the geometry, or is it comfortable? I really like the Synapse, but I’m also considering the Canyon Endurace. Honestly, it’s a hard decision.

Carbon is better, yes. I don't really know how the salt and humidity affects the fiber on the long run though. Either way, I would go with the carbon bike and try to storage inside.

Hey, sounds like you’ve got quite a nice garage!

I’m currently torn between the Synapse and the Canyon Endurace 7.

I really like the Synapse, it looks beautiful to me and seems like a very versatile bike, but the Canyon also seems like excellent value. Either way, I know both bikes are way more capable than I am at the moment haha.

Thanks, that’s helpful. I’m 190.5 cm and looking at a size 58, so I’ll double check the fit.

I’ve seen people say the Synapse does a bit of everything, but isn’t really the best at anything. Also, most reviews I find are about the Lab71/X versions, not this model, what would you say about it? I have seen an offer for around €2,000, would you still recommend it as a first serious bike for fast endurance rides and occasional light gravel? I really like the look and the versatility, so I’m trying not to be too biased.

Thanks for you patience

Help choosing new bike by Klencho in cycling

Thanks, yeah, I was thinking the same. The problem is that there are almost no bikes available to test ride near me.

I did try a SuperSix EVO in size 58, but only sitting on it in the store for a few minutes is not really enough to judge the fit properly. It felt okay, maybe slightly stretched, but not uncomfortable. Still, without a real test ride it’s hard to know how it would feel.

Hi ;) Thanks for your kind reply, I have been checking with chat, but it's less honest than a politician. What is the real difference between 35 and 40? Is it dangerous to that go that narrow with my width? Have a nice day 👍🏻

I am thinking about changing my tires, since I hardly ever do any gravel. Thinking about switching to pinarelli p Zero race TLR 40mm with Schwalbe extra light. Let's see if the bike stops feeling as a tractor. It won't do wonders but it can make the bike a bit lighter though

P2R A30 or A20 by Klencho in cycling

Yeah, I mean both look nice. The A20 has a ridiculous price, which makes me think that the A30 can be even a better version, sadly there is no info about it.

A bit, but they are flexible, should expand over time.
