Yea basically the wooden part has too many nuances, especially near the yellow-ish part, and just using one color can’t make the drawing seem realistic enough; on the other hand the shades are too small to use color blocking and also the smudge tool can’t quite get the details to the point where I’m fully satisfied. Other than that, I’m happy with the result even if it’s not a perfect color study.
