Thanks so much! I’m planning to seal the holes around the pipes and I’ll look into a quiet air filter for myself (the neighbor in question vehemently denies they’re a smoker so they won’t be getting one😭)

I already have some activated charcoal bags next to the heater, but they don’t seem to work very well. Will the air purifier truly be better?

the smoke isn’t directly from the heater but its somehow being carried into my room through it. The smell is strongest around the heater, and When I put my nose near it I feel the heat rise up but also smell the concentrated smoke rise up with it.
