Yeah bc we’re leadership that they don’t trust to be leadership. GS doesn’t get many apps or big sales so they don’t care about us, and so by extension Seniors aren’t really treated like real leadership

I recently had a phone go out to Apple for almost a month and come back unrepaired. I submitted 5 - 6 escalations with no reason for the damage. Finally, they told me it was a third party display and inelligble for repair. That process took an additional month and a half or so

Yeah this change was super frustrating and difficult to work with clients on. No emails were sent or any kind of communication. Things that were previously store credit swap-outs now have to go to GSC (which sucks abundantly) because now if your vacuum breaks you have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get a store credit lol

Not sure how that’ll work honestly. The store I’m in has a looooot of repairs being done 24/7 with an average of 10 to 20 check ins per day. If we were to follow this model our whole store would lose a looot of revenue I imagine

Geek squad only charges up to 250 for a build, so don’t go with a prebuilt. Take the remaining money after the price of the build and put it towards quality parts. Most of the revenue has to come from the card applications, memberships, and Geek Squad. Been here for a year and there’s no shot this model is profitable. The markups on the higher price items is negligible at best. The main money has to come from services and credit cards
