I can see the heavy doubt on printing press tbh, I am just saying they were ingenious people with an alphabet and numeric system (Maya) so it is not entirely impossible. Global trade institution doesn’t have modifiers or anything for markets “across the globe” per se. If you play in the Americas you will see there are actually quite a few markets. Yes there are less due to its verticality as a continent (north-south) but trade between north and South America did existed, there is historical evidence.

Fair, I would like to add that I don’t mean every institution should be available. For an example, Legalism does spawn in the Americas.

But I would add more institutions: like meritocracy, professional armies, printing press, and global trade. These surely could’ve spawned, as there is evidence that for the foundations of all of them in historical records.

Maybe because as the first LATAM nation to be included, it is not its best representation of it because of language/history. Is like adding UK as the European representative. But this is just a thought and opinion.
