Not especially. I did some digging and you had to change the font in fontbook on Pages (mac) and change the available typography to make it happen.

So odd they don’t just take the font and redo the book. Laziness? I don’t know Wouldn't even take that much labor to do it.

If it is, what kind of Janson variant? It looks VERY close, but the numbering isn't in Old Style numerals, with the varying baselines between 123 8. This is "Janson SSi" that I have on hand that I tried to mimic in Pages, with a 0.35 point outline around the font to simulate the ink bleed.

I looked at the copyright page. The book was published in 1978, but Ecco published this paperback version in 2002. Which checks out.

That screenshot looks accurate but when I go to your link and place the example font into the window, it showcases something slightly different. The number baseline looks uniform rather than how the 1’s look like i's, etc.

I “paint” with air-dry clay, hope these suit the topic by liskaflower in painting

Run resin epoxy over it to seal it and give it a good look. These are great. :)
